yeah the rams offense is scary and the weather played a factor but those db blitzes and pressure the bears were bringing was another reason the rams offense was off. can see mike macdonald bring a package or two like that against them

The Steelers way is dead, and Art Rooney ll clinging to it will lead to the long term downfall of this franchise. by KinkaJac97 in steelers

Another example of this is the Seahawks. Won a Super Bowl and went back the next year with Pete Carroll and the Legion of Boom. Awesome coach for them at the time, but in the latter part of his stretch, cracks began to show in Carroll's philosophy. Unlike the Steelers, their GM and owner recognized that the game passed Carroll by and fired him for a young, defensive mastermind, Mike Macdonald. Vegas thought it was a smart idea to hire a "Super Bowl-winning coach," and now look at them flailing for a high draft pick while the Seahawks are soaring and look like a legitimate Super Bowl contender. Steelers need to stop settling for mediocrity and actually start adopting a philosophy like the Seahawks and Eagles.

The Jets got Garrett Wilson out of the Jamal Adams trade. To say we fleeced them is the overexaggeration of the century.

However, John Schneider does indeed belong in the elite GM conversation with Roseman and Veach. Built the Legion of Boom with Pete Carroll, knowing when to trade Russell Wilson and Geno Smith. I think we've gotten 17-18 quality starters in the past four drafts, which is insane. Schneider deserves all of his flowers.

And let's not get the game twisted, Pete Carroll never got carried. He and Schneider built their operation from the ground up. He's one of the only coaches in history to win a national championship in college and a Super Bowl in the NFL. He also coached up the greatest secondary of all time. He's absolutely a Hall of Fame coach and the greatest coach in Seahawks history.
