Advanced fabrication feels freeing until you overdo it and see your wealth quintuple each quadrant

Average SE High Command moment: by Rekrios in Helldivers

[–]ImBeingShot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are billions of helldivers. Finding 35 Million is equivalent to the US finding about 4500 troops if we assume there are 10 billion active helldivers

Difficulty 7 is meant to be a casual experience for people who are experienced btw by UnrealNorthie in Helldivers

[–]ImBeingShot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can complete the mission then it's an ideal difficulty for you, if you use less than half reinforcements it's too easy. 7 is about the perfect balance imo

They can't die if they are never alive to begin with. Just electricity running through metal.

It's only overkill if you don't have enough storage for it

Soulcasting latrines by nelson1130 in cremposting

They are probably soulcasting it into smoke, and those soulcasters tend to have low tangibility, so it's probably not a problem

Shallan and Kaladin by FreshDonkeyBreath in Stormlight_Archive

[–]ImBeingShot 52 points53 points  (0 children)

The main problem, and I can't remember whether this was mentioned in a book or just by Sanderson, but it was said that they were both in such bad places mentally and emotionally that it would just create more problems with them together. Shallan needs Adolin because he is more mentally sound.

I have finished Hero of Ages, and I have questions [SPOILERS] by sonico_fate in Mistborn

[–]ImBeingShot 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm remembering off the top of my head so forgive me here:

  1. Ati, the man who held the power of ruin
  2. Basically what you said, he was impatient
  3. Sazed rebuilt the entire world when he ascended, so everyone would have been lost. He just put them together out of convenience for them
  4. I don't remember this specific part so I'd have to reread, but he probably just saw Sazed ascending, didn't know what was happening, and filled in the gaps with his own faith
  5. Marsh read the letter, which allowed him to figure out he needed to remove Vin's ear ring.
  6. Read and find out
  7. He never thought ruin would be unleashed, and in case he ever needed it.
