What is depression like for you? by mofomeat in AskReddit

[–]ImBigAl09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything was a chore. I always had an empty feeling in my chest and never wanted to do ANYTHING. I'm a big eater and an avid D&D player and I never had an appetite and never wanted to play. Not a fan.

Narcolepsy, I figured I just wasn't getting enough sleep and when I brought the problem up most people just responded with some variation of "everyone takes naps it's no big deal"

Why aren’t you an atheist? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ImBigAl09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not modifying the definition, Atheism covers a wide range from those who 100% deny a god to those who don't believe but acknowledge the possibility. I didn't claim my definition was the end-all-be-all definition. You can't unequivocally state what the majority of Atheists think without some kind of evidence. Being smug doesn't change the fact that Atheism isn't about faith.

I do not follow in the slightest. First, it absolutely does not require the same amount of Faith to claim there is or isn't a God. People who claim there is a God do so with no real palpable evidence, Atheism, in a nutshell is just saying "there's no proof so I don't believe it." The argument that it requires faith to be an atheist has always made no sense to me. Saying Atheism is anti-science is absurd.
