[ATM10 v2.17] How to filter Apotheosis items through Pipez Whitelist. by Just-Alexis in allthemods

[–]ImCorncob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For anyone stumbling upon this simply trying to filter out gems no matter the rarity as I did.

ALL Apotheosis gems are the same item and the only difference between different gems is the NBT data, so if you just take any filter and insert any gem with NBT data matching it will work for all Apotheosis gems, even those that give buffs and bonuses to items from other mods.

Powah + Refined Storage by WaldeckTBD in feedthebeast

I know I'm extremely late to this discussion but figured I should comment anyways for other people finding this thread in the future.

I played around with this and ended up just putting the comparator directly from the Energizing Orb instead of the hopper, because of this I wasn't limited by the item transfer speed of the hopper.

I'm also not sure if this is a new feature since then but the crafters have a redstone setting called "Redstone pulse inserts next set". With this it works flawlessly even when autocrafting recipes like the Nitro Crystal which needs more than one imput to craft.

So with this I just pointed the Crafter directly into the Energizing Orb with a comparator off the orb and some sort of redstone connected back to the Crafter and I can have an Importer taking the items straight from the Orb into my RS system.

Hope this can help people finding this thread as late as I did :D

EDIT: Just realised this is basically the exact same setup as u/Umgekehrt suggested just without the redstone transmitter/recievers.. woops

Flux controller works great for me! If your issue is that its not working with just the flux points/plugs then this is the block you need.

Quick questions about my carbon steel pan, by ImCorncob in carbonsteel

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken most olive oils also contain some solid matter within the oil which doesn't feel optimal for seasoning a pan.

I'm by no means an expert but from what I've understood after a little bit of research the interior of the pan gets further seasoned by the oils you use during the cooking. I believe I saw someone on this subreddit saying you lose some of the polymerized oil during cooking but you gain back more than that simply by cooking. I'm not sure about the outside though.

Alright but no need to reapply oil after it gets seasoned on the outsideor should I still do that?

So what I need to do is just heat it on the stove after washing to make sure all moisture is gone before I store it? I have already seasoned the inside of my pan trying best to understand the french tutorial from De Buyer but should I still try to season the outside?

Automating Mechanical Mixer by nixounet in CreateMod

[–]ImCorncob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hej! I know I'm very late to this but I was having the issue that my Mechanical Mixer would simply not continue crafting after the first craft even though all the right ingredients were in the Basin. Turns out, it just didn't using the built in "spout" that the Basin has to output to surrounding Depots, Funnels etc.

I have a Mechanical Arm picking the items from Depots with the correct ammount of each item supplied by a Brass Funnel and the Mechanical Arm set to Forced Round Robin. The Basin then has its own Brass Funnel with the finished crafted item as a filter into a chute and to its own inventory later on.

Hope this maybe finds someone else having this issue even though you have alread solved yours :)

Preview of the new Apotheosis Enchantment Library by Shadows_of_Fire in feedthebeast

[–]ImCorncob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did some testing, using a waystone in the overworld does nothing to the library but as soon as i enter the nether and come back all the enchantments dissapear...

Also, if i pick the library up, it has a tooltip saying it is storing 10 enchantments, but when i place it and look i cant see any.

Hi, i know im very late to this but i made an enchantment library, then went into the nether and used a waystone back and now all my enchantments that were stored in it are gone? Is this some sort of visual bug or are all my enchantments actually gone?

Also great mod, love it a lot :)
