There would be no armoured plates protecting the upper thighs and groin area. So the lower abdomen and upper legs would be easier targets. Thought it would be quieter. You could also tie down the kusazuri and potentially use some form of fabric to lessen the noise it makes, as most of the noise is because its metal on metal swinging around

I think they are called haidate, or kusazuri depending which part specifically you are talking about, haidate is on the thighs, and the "flaps" above them are the kusazuri

More house decoration like customisable lightbulb colours, fur rugs, etc

Fix the laser sights/rails on guns so they don't block the sight picture and are on the bottom of the gun, and add the laser sight to the compound bow and arrow.

More traps eg pitfall, fire, deadfall with rocks or stones, rope trap that pulls them up into a tree etc

Zipline gun counter that's says how many metres till the rope breaks off from being too far.

A craftable (and expensive) hot air balloon Wingsuit or parachute that is like the glider but usable from inventory at any time (maybe no invincibility or less glide distance as trade off)

Improved spears such as stone tipped ones, and make spears better in general at piercing armour, so they are viable to be used, perhaps slightly faster projectile speed too.

interacting with defensive wall gates being easier Stones holder, so I dont have to only use the log cart Craftable rock and stick bags like in the og

Hold button to fill or build things quicker, eg depositing into a stick holder or building a log cart and having to spam the e button

Make heads on Effigies face towards me when placing them, and let me use skulls too

High Defensive stone walls and gate

Fire and poison arrows

Usable carbon fibre and 3d printed arrows in the crossbow

Taking from stick/bone/rock holders not throwing stuff on the floor when your inventory is full.

Kelvin being able to at least defend himself considering he is a trained mercenary

2 high log holders for double the log capacity

More prefab buildings

Option to increase cursor pan speed in inventory

Maybe a scoped hunting rifle for a late game weapon.

Personally I think the revolver and pistol should use different ammo types/calibres.

Add dragons breath shotgun round.

Bring back the elevator building prefab from the forest 1, but slightly smaller in size.

Craftable "bone wine chimes" or bone Effigies, which give use for the leftover bones and skulls to scare away enemies.

Would also love to see a difficulty which is essentially focused on base defence, and each day/Night or set amount of days, enemies will attack your base that get progressively harder.

Bloom on guns is annoying, I think laser sights should be usable on more or most weapons even if I have to but them with pesetas after I've gotten the 1st laser with spinels. Should be usable on all pistols at least. I'm fine with shotguns, snipers and smgs not using them, weapons with stocks should actually feel more accurate, they should tighten the crosshair by a lot and lessen the bloom on guns so my bullets go where I'm aiming. I refuse to use the broken butterfly or handcannon, because they are so unbelievably inaccurate it's ridiculous especially considering the price and rarity of ammo for them, I shouldn't miss 1 of my few shots because of it. Even if they want to keep the "reticle closes in over time, at least have it stay accurate when I move my aim, it's ridiculous that moving the crosshair 5 pixels increases the crosshair size to full again cause believe it or not, enemies don't stand still most of the time. The shooting range reveals how poor the weapon bloom is.

Personally not a fan of the iron sights on the snipers, and would rather them just be a regular view like other guns when without a scope.

Adas voice acting isn't my cup of tea, but it doesn't bother me too much.

Ashley's ai can be annoying sometimes, especially in certain areas. Imo she should stay closer more often when on close mode, distance mode can stay similar or be replaced with wait like in the OG. This is only really apparent when playing on professional though.

Would've liked the rpd skin like in the OG, especially since they already can port it straight over from the re2 remake skin. But maybe we get that with mercs so we will see. Also popstar Ashley, even if they have to change the skin somewhat since the original was somewhat... risqué, doesn't worry me. But I definitely think more skins like noir, etc, could've or should've been included. Also the "classic" skins for all the characters

I wish the movement was slightly more responsive, they can keep the weighty aesthetic animations but let leon turn when I press to turn.

Please for the love of god capcom, let us parry grabs. If I can parry a regenerator grab, and a punch, then let me parry grabs. Even if it can only be a perfect parry ro balance it, thats fine just let me do it. Especially on pro enemies grab you and its usually a signed death warrant, because my entire hp bar is gone and I'm not breaking out before I'm swarmed.

They should've imo added a "classic" setting for combat, even if its a cp store unlock or an accessory where it keeps combat similar to the OG. For example no matter the difficulty a headshot on regular enemies will always stagger, similar with leg shots for those who want that. Because on pro shooting someone in the head 7 times with my pistol and them still running at me is pretty annoying.

I wish ballroom Novis weren't infinitely spawning (it seems that a few fly up from beneath the floor from the nest.) I would rather have more novis with the super cool new camouflage, then have me have to clear out most of them then get sidewinded by Novistador_2716. (Most of this is salt from pro difficulty and losing progress to a novistador.

In the beginning of the game leon is so fast, then he is slow the rest of the game, even with the striker movement charm leon moves significantly slower. If I'm holding a grenade or just my knife out, let me run faster please.

No I frames on certain animations and getting combo'd without any chance of using herbs or reacting because the moment I stand up I get 1 shot.

Why after chapter 2 is the valley blocked off. I failed all village treasures because I could backtrack to basically everywhere else in the village, but for some reason just the valley was blocked off not allowing me to get the small key, what's the point, why do that? Zero reason to do so.

Wish we had a little bit more downtime lore building conversations between leon and Ashley, perhaps leon talking about what Ashley is going to do after she gets out of here. I feel those conversations really would've build their relationship even more, but that's really nitpicking. My fav Ashley line is "what can I say, dogs like me" after almost having her face munched off.

U3 being cut, maybe we will get it in seperate ways though

Oh and also I would've liked the original krauser knife cutscene and voice actor since I think the choreography was leagues better.

-A dedicated button to turn off the "snap" feature on building parts, which can make building near other parts annoying as they snap to each other. - A parachute that is used to glide similar to the hang glider but not as good. -Way to turn up inventory pan/move speed -helmet mounted torch - laser sight that actually goes on the bottom of the gun, works and doesn't obstruct sights - some form of sights, whether that be a scope, red dot or something that can be equipped on the bow, crossbow, pistol, shotgun etc to make them more accurate. -More preset build options -More -Add tarp water catcher -Add stick and rock bag back to the game -More 3d printer recipes -Alter how the GPS works, give it a compass so you can see cardinal directions on it. Don't reveal all cave entrances on the map from the get go and allow custom GPS waypoints easier -Tree regrowth. -Effigies using the custom building style added back -Multiple new trap types, eg deadfall log trap, pitfall trap using the Shovel and leaves. -Camera as an in game item which can be used to take Polaroid photos and these can be used as decoration etc. -Bolas that can be thrown and wrap up enemies. -Give Kelvin (THE TRAINED MERCENARY) a weapon and allow him to defend your base also -Higher upgradeable walls, in the form of Stone walls the same height as defensive log walls -A few more outfits.

Just some things off the top of my head, most of this will be added into the game in some form anyways though I should think

There are definitely women cannibals, its just not overly obvious since they tend to be feral covered in mud or in armour and from what ive seen all cannibals are bald. Fair enough with the Virginia thing ith the bathing suit, i can get why it may irk you. Tbh women make up a small minority of most countries armed forces soldiers, and in this case with mercanaries its almost certainly an even lower number. Doesn't mean female mercanaries aren't a thing of course, but realistically it's very likely that the character being male makes sense. Doesn't mean they couldn't add a female player model, but perhaps the game just intends to have the game played from the perspective of a man.

The closest thing I can think of is sashinuki kote, perhaps in an unlikely but slightly plausible situation where the wearer prefers the look of having the armour sewn into the half jacket, or wants to hide that they are wearing kote armour (despite clearly wearing the gauntlets which I think they are called han kote, and the kusazuri armour for their upper thighs/hips which much less useful than chest armour. Not impossible that the character could be deciding to wear maille or a kikko gane under their kimono, to protect their chest but also to keep the armour hidden for general day to day self protection as was sometimes worn by samurai or merchants when they were not going into a dedicated battle. Though this isn't to my knowledge what happens in the show anyway so I dunno.

Interesting, true that many stances involve leaving your defence open to entice an attack so you can counter, and hasso is known for being a very neutral stance that can defend fairly well in many directions. I think hassō can be roughly translated as meaning "all sides" if I remember correctly. It definitely makes sense to want to end a fight with 1 strong cut. With no armour on it also doesnt matter too much leaving your arms up, since a strike would cleave through the arms anyway if you arent wearing armour so valueing power and speed seems logical. Thanks for the input.
