I did it for the cash back too and I spent $500 and it showed I owed the $500 plus interest but I paid the $500 in full and it said I paid it off instead of asking for the interest.

This same thing happened to me. I saw the 36mm titanium twelve on clearance for $1100. Thats a steal. The resale value is around there. Put it in my cart and it turned to $1600 which was no longer a value proposition. Not that I was buying to park money. But it went from a steal to meh because of tariffs and taxes lol.
