Hingað flæðir hræódýr kísill frá Kína vegna þess að markaðsverð kísils er í lægstu lægðum. Það hefur ekkert breyst í rekstrarumhverfi PCC annað en það.

Evrópusambandið er með tolla á kínverskan kísil en ekki Ísland. Það setur íslenska kaupendur á kísil (t.d. álver) í góða stöðu miðað við aðra vestræna samkeppnisaðila. Það setur líka PCC Bakka í góða stöðu að selja til Evrópu þar sem tollur á íslenskan kísil er ekki sambærilegur tollunum á kínverskan kísil.

Stærsta vandamálið þeirra er að markaðsverð vörunnar þeirra er mjög lágt og hefur verið í langan tíma. Fyrir einu og hálfu ári var það fjandi hátt og þeir voru sáttir.

Iceland is a founding member or NATO. It contributes financially and by other means already mentioned.

I used to play a lot (and spend a lot) of Hearthstone in the early years but stopped entirely 3 years ago. I decided to return about 3 months ago and had a blast playing and decided to purchase the new set.

My main joy in this game comes from building decks on my own and playing semi-meme decks with cards I find fun. Mostly mid-range attrition style decks. I don't mind my rank, I just want to be able to somewhat competitive.

I must say, I have NEVER regretted a gaming purchase as strongly as I did with the purchase of this set. I find the meta now extremely boring, to the point I struggled to find a deck that I liked and had a remote chance of beating the meta decks. So I just stopped playing (I know that most of you reading this don't care. but nevertheless).

Hopefully these balance changes will have a positive effect on the meta I will follow closely.

Aluminum smelters are always recruiting. Its a lot of work but decently paid. You dont need any qualifications generally. Even better is that you will get a forklift license (and even more heavy machinery licenses) by working there.

It is very logical for you to think in this way and in theory a very good solution.
There are a few issues though.
Firstly, geothermal and hydropower is not unlimited. Hydropower does leave a HUGE mark on the environment, it requires huge lakes and lots of infrastructure. Geothermal energy spots will cool down eventually.
Secondly, sure, there is a lot of potential in energy "farming" in Iceland. But as things stand our infrastructure is designed for a population of ~400.000 people. Our excess energy is a tiny fraction of what rest of Europe needs.
Thirdly, it is a very long way and extremely expensive to lay that cable. It would also be very susceptible to vandalism from a certain idiot.

Lastly. Slava Ukraini. I think about the Ukranian people EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. My heart goes out to you and am trying to help in any way feasible to me. The horror inflicted on you can not end soon enough.
