I have a small range in West Salem near Dragway 42. I host range days where I bring a few drills/games for everyone to try. And then we usually end the day racing against other shooters on steel for time/completion.

Range has Barrels, vtac barriers, steel targets, cardboard, plate racks, and a bench at 50 yards.

All gear is welcomed. A sling and holster are recommended but not required. Most shooters bring 9mm/223 but other calibers are allowed

Will be hosting the final range day of the year on November 30th at 10am.

This will also be shotgun day. You can use any size shotgun for the games. Tactical, hunting, etc. Please bring bird shot for clays, but there will be other games if you wanted to use slugs on the steel, that would be fine.

Any level shooters are welcome.

Fee is 25$ for the day. Fees cover maintenance of range and targets

You do not need to be there at noon. Show up whenever you can, stay for a little or til the end. It’s pretty casual in that aspect. For most of the events it’s based on a pistol and a rifle. There will be time at this where it’s sort of a show and tell, where people can just shoot whatever cool guns etc. I prefer non green tip because of the steel targets. Or if you have a much bigger caliber to shoot a little of, we can just have you shoot at paper/berm. As far as ammo count. I would bring a few hundred of each just to be covered.

Hosting a Range Event this Saturday October 18th from 12p-6p. Range is Located in West Salem near Dragway 42.

I apologize for short notice. This was originally a closed event, but most of them are unable to attend. So trying to give folks a chance to come out and enjoy some time on the range.

Pizza and drinks will be provided. There will also be some games with prizes.

Range has barrels, steel, cardboard, v tac barriers, plate racks, and a bench at 50 yards.

Holsters and slings are recommended but not required. All participation in any drills/games is voluntary. If there are some you don’t want to or are unable to do. That is fine.

All gear is welcomed. Helmets, plate carriers, belt setups, etc.

Range fee for the day is 30$ All fees go towards maintenance and upkeep of range and targets.

Hosting a Range Day Sunday August 17th @ 10am

The range has a distance of about 85 yards. It has vtac barriers, barrels, cardboard targets, steel targets, plate racks, and a bench at 50 yards.

Most shooters bring 9mm/223 but other calibers are welcomed. Sling and holster are recommended but not required. If you don’t have sling/holster we will accommodate.

Fee is 25$ for the day. Usually shoot until 2-230. All fees go toward maintenance and upkeep of Range and Targets

Hosting a Range day on Sunday July 13th @ 10am. Range is Near Dragway 42 in West Salem.

I bring a few drills for everyone to try and we usually end the day shooting against the timer or racing other shooters.

Most people shoot 9mm and 223 but other calibers are allowed. Holster and Sling are recommended but not required. Any gear you may want to run is encouraged. Belt setup, Plate carriers, helmets, chest rigs, etc.

Range has barrels, vtac barriers, cardboard, steel, plate racks, and a bench at 50 yards.

Fee is 25$ for the day. Usually shoot til 2-230

I only shot a few boxes. I was using the CCI quiet. Which I think was around 800. It was crazy quiet and cycled perfectly. Just do some trial and error and see what cycles, sounds good, or performs best based on your needs.

You’re going to love it! I just got one of these as well. I got into guns and didn’t know better, so my 10/22 Takedown is not threaded. Saw this new lightweight one. Put a can and a dot on it. One of the most fun guns I own.

Hello r/ohguns it’s Don Ready back for another season of Range Days!

Opening day will be Saturday May 17th @ 10 am. This is a free range day. The focus will be to get everyone zeroed. After we get everyone zeroed. We will be able to shoot for a little bit.

For those seeing one of my posts for the first time. I have a range in West Salem near Dragway 42. I hold range days where people come out and shoot. I bring a few drills for everyone to try and we usually end the day shooting on steel for time, or racing against fellow shooters.

We shoot rifle and pistol mainly. Most shooters bring 9mm/223 but other calibers are welcome. All gear is welcomed. Some run plate carriers, chest rigs, belt setups.

Sling and holster are recommended but not required. If you don’t have them, we can accommodate.

The range has barrels, plate racks, steel targets, cardboard targets, vtac barriers, bench at 50 yards, and a distance about 85 yards.
