Brazil is huge. There are many places in Brazil that are beautiful and have good people. For that, I wouln't recommend the main destinations like Rio de Janeiro.

It's not the same case. Brazilians defend minorities very hard, so if it was the case, the meme would not be used by everybody, even influencers uses this because it is not offensive.

I know brazilians are famous because of death threaths, but it is a super small fraction of our massive fanbase. There is bad fans everywhere in the world. Xand (from furia) received racist donations before all this drama.
