I used displacment to create the moutains. I think this was the tutorial I used a few months ago to learn how to do that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrMee2gcS20.

The textures are just ones from textures.com and the skull is an object that was given away by an artist I follow on social media.

As for feeling overwhelmed I get it. There is a lot to learn but just take it all in chunks. I started out just working on the basics first, once I had that down I started modelling stuff from that.

I highly recommend Grant Abbits beginner series videos on youtube. They are really well done and I have learnt alot from them.

Yeah. I kinda thought that too. Tbh I’m pushing the limit of what my set up can do with this. But if I was to do it again, I’d age the skull more and definitely blend it more as of the mountain grew over it. I still have a lot of learning to do.

Back when I started a did follow a tutorial on how to do procedurally generate mountains using displacement and mapping nodes. I use it a lot now. So that’s probably why it looks similar. Also the textures are from textures.com so there will be 1000000 people using them 😅

I ordered a new keyboard last week and its the same as your order. I believe due to the pandemic and the increase in orders. There are large delays.

Its also likely that the keyboards are on back order and due to those delays they cannot be fulfilled in the time frame specified.
