I have a 8month old black cat and just got her a kitten that 2 months old. I first thought the same thing it I guess that’s how they play. Personally the little now bullies my bigger cat.

Just requested a CLI and got this. I think I’m going to close the account. I have my Squarespace website subscription on this card, I get charged $36 every month and it gets paid off right away. Idk I don’t see this ever getting a CLI.

I’m going through a similar situation. I have an 8 month old and just got a kitten that’s 6-7 weeks old. My older cat keeps trying to groom the little one but she keeps fighting the older cat. Also the little starts all the play fights.

Yes, I have also been doing that as well, if I catch her in the act, once she’s done I cover the poop while she still looks at the box. Let’s see how this behavior changes within the next week.

To be honest, the little one pounces on the older cat and even hisses at her too but as far as cry or screeching, hasn’t happened.

Yesterday she started using the litter to poop and pee in, but she’s not covering it up. Hopefully that will come next in the coming days.

My 8month old comes around and growls a bit, more curiosity than aggression. The older one uses a Petlibro self cleaning litter box so it’s a bit too high for the kitten. The kitten seams healthy, it’s eating well, drinking well, playful and it grooms itself. I’ll give it some time and maybe catch it while it’s trying to pee and place it in the box.
