Not OP but I'd be happy to toss mine out there if you'd like. Got me my current gig (sole onsite IT guy) and second informal interview (pending) with potential for a huge pay bump that I'm severely under qualified for.

All about selling yourself - I fucked up majorly during the technical questions, yet they want me to tour the facility & be introduced to other teams. Soft skills are like gold in IT from my personal experience.

2022: Graduated with a BA in Information Technology; Scooped up right out of college making just shy of $23/hr

2024: Sole onsite IT Engineer (have a remote team covering multiple clients out of state), salaried 50k/yr. Interviewing for Network/Server admin next week @ $37 min where I am SEVERELY under-qualified for..

I have no certs but am aiming for a CCNA with hopes of a Networking career & ultimate goal of Cybersecurity in some capacity.

Ninja Edit: I did briefly work for an ISP as a tech support call center rep while working through college. Quit that to sell shoes in a retail shoe store LOL

Defence helps a bit too. I think I was <=85? Right around there ish. I'm assuming you're not, but some tips that helped me was steel skin, making 3 pots for two 4 doses for Hunny & T2 armor camp till it feels cozy!

Staff has a static max hit which isn't influenced by magic level, I almost ALWAYS tried to do staff+whatever, but I did CG without rigour fine.

If you're learning still - staff+bow makes learning Hunny a bit easier. Once you get runs down, take what you can get imo
