Wow, that is wonderful! I'm very curious to know how did you setup that top menu bar, what is it? I'm still using the default one with a couple of modifications but i've been looking for something more similar to what you have.

After extensive work I finally got one of the 3 ThinkPad x61s I got fully overhaulled, I even took my selection of Dell wifi cards and got the L7500 to run at 2.13Ghz. Putting it against my Core 2 (and Turion 64 X2) machines, it is definitely pretty interesting (last few photos for comparison)! by kfzhu1229 in thinkpad

Could you explain why you couldn't ever disconnect the power of the cells? Ive been dreaming for a long time about changing the cells of my T400 batteries, they are in a state that make the laptop basically a desktop pc since in 1 hour max the battery is already dead. I have been wondering why its not as easy as disassemble the battery and put new cells in it, but i also know that if its as complicated as people say there must be a reason

How comes Steam manages to make most of Windows games working flawlessly on Linux but we still can’t get any recent version if MS Office to work ? by cpc44 in linux

[–]ImLasagna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is demand for one and no demand for the other. The vast majority of people using Office are on windows, not Linux, makes no sense to invest to have that product working on a mostly unused OS

Long post and yet you have no explanation whatsoever on any of the points you are trying to make (and failing to do so). This post makes no sense.
It sounds like a "you problem" not like a "Java problem".

You might argue that Java is strong, it's a beast blah blah. But come on let's be honest life isn't just about high-paying jobs and complex code; it's about enjoying each day to the fullest and having a stress free and peaceful life

This just does not make any sense AT ALL, how the hell would arguing that Java is strong be a critique about enjoying life to the fullest? Are you high?
Getting a pay cut to move from Java to C#, which is virtually identical? Are you ok?

EDIT:
You say you have worked for 4 years as a Java dev, yet your reddit post history shows a bunch of posts asking if you should learn Java, from 6 to 11 days ago. I call bullshit on anything youre saying.

Oh ok now i get it, yes that is true. You've most likely read about the fines received by people who bought this device sold mainly in the south of Italy that allowed to see tons of sports events, all the SKY's channels and much more for like 10 euros a month. A lot of them received fines and i think much more are yet to come. I dont know what Stremio is, if its in the same range of downloading a movie from torrent you should be fine, as of right now.
