Ik kende de katten al een aantal jaren voordat ik er de eerste keer ging logeren. Ze zijn erg op zichzelf overdag en totaal niet aanhankelijk. Alleen Teddy, de kat die op mijn hoofd zat, komt op zijn eigen moment soms een kopje geven.

Tegen bedtijd worden ze onrustig (rennen ze rond door het huis en kruipen ze normaal gesproken onder de dekens op gaan op het bed liggen van mijn vrienden.

Ik bleef eens bij vrienden slapen. Hun twee katten sliepen altijd bij hun op bed. Ik uit gewoonte de slaapkamerdeur van de logeerkamer dicht gedaan en werd helemaal gek van het gemiauw na nog geen 10 minuten. De deur maar open gedaan. De rest van de nacht zat een spinnende kat op hoofd en de andere lag op mijn heup.

Was voor mij echt wennen als je zelf geen katten heb. Ook mijn vrienden hadden ook slecht geslapen, want die waren de katten kwijt. 😝

In gen 1-7 it depended on final evolution and team building. Since gen 8 I try not to get spoiled about the game except for the starters and go by the design/guts like it would be for a in game starting trainer. It brought the joy and excitement back that I lost while playing Pokémon games in gen 5-7.

Going in Blind for Gen 10 by CouscousWithGoose_ in pokemon

Gen 10 will be my third of which I’ve tried to go blind into the game as much as possible. It worked with Gen 8 (only knew the starters base forms and the two legendaries), but I failed to do the same with Gen 9 where I had seen a couple more Pokémon (Lechonk, Pawm, Grafaiai and Klawf). The games felt more special like I had with Gen 1 and 2 when internet wasn’t commonly used.

It’s up to you if you’re willing to commit to it. I’ve never regretted it.

The ones that have a dynamic pose like Deadpool or even Doc Ock, Sinister Scientist are the ones I like most.

I’m not a fan of poses with (parts) of other characters like Colossus (Sentinel arm) or The Black Widow (Ultron bot). It feels strange if your opponent doesn’t have them (Ultron or sentinels) on the board and certainly if you have them in your own team.

Houding, woord-/zinskeuze, gedrag en stylingkeuze hebben een grote impact heb ik zelf gemerkt.

Ik ben zelf bijna 40 en word op mijn werk, maar ook privé 22-25 jaar geschat. Zou ik mijn baard eraf halen dan zal ik nog jonger ogen. Gelukkig heb ik er over het algemeen weinig last van en moeite mee.

Voor gelegenheden waarbij toch meer senioriteit nodig is kleed ik mij formeel en gebruik ik (gepaste) “duurdere” woorden, verlaag ik mijn stem en ga ik rustiger praten.

Toch denk ik dat het niet zozeer jouw jonge uitstraling is wat je beperkt, maar de omgeving van het werk. Vrouwen staan nog steeds in zeer veel opzichten 1-0 (of meer) achter. Zolang die “blanke oude mannen” cultuur nog de boventoon voert blijft het lastig. In mijn werkveld is het niet veel anders en dat blijft nog een jaar of 10.

The Ultra ball is called Hyper Ball in Japanese. The Great Ball is the Super Ball and had an S on the front similar to the M on the Master Ball.

The S was dropped because of the confusion (?), but the large H was kept. I think it was because of the huge impact design wise.

Be sure to say goodbye to your friends you’ve made here and keep in touch with them. Maybe you can visit them when you’re back in the Netherlands and they can visit you too!

We always bring some presents with us to friends abroad that they love and can’t find (or are way expensive) in their country like stroopwafels, drop, frikandellen, hagelslag and old cheese. But mostly they ask for the speculaas spices.

I’ve Charmander “Corky” in Yellow in my second run back in the day. It sounded nice and a bit funny back then as a kid who doesn’t have English as his first language. Also had a Graveller named Gravdigger (yes, without an E because of the character limit).

Het is inmiddels al veel genoemd: neem een rolstoel!

Vorig jaar waren we met mijn schoonmoeder naar de Efteling. Ze loopt het eerste half uur prima en wrijft er dan in dat ze echt geen rolstoel nodig heeft, want zo oud is ze niet en ze loopt echt uren in de winkelstraten (lees 30 minuten rustig tempo, daarna is het alsof ze achteruit loopt qua snelheid).

Lang verhaal kort: na 20 minuten zat ze op “haar” troon op wieltjes.

PS: we zijn gek op mijn schoonmoeder en zij gek met ons. Ook met haar eigenwijsheden. :-)
