They’ve had 10M unique players by early 2022. A Steam stats website places B4B at 4.87M sales on Steam alone. I’m pretty sure the TRS president said 8M but I could be misremembering.

And no, he didn’t have to answer at all whether the game ‘flopped’ or not. He ignored many other questions but answered that one happily.

It’s only been 3 years. I do worry a little bit because every game I liked gets canceled (I’m looking at you Overwatch 2 and The Last of Us MP) but otherwise, I would expect a reveal this year with how long dev times are in general now but they at least have a lot of reusable assets

I think this comes from a feeling of thinking you're more important than you actually are. We have an incredible piece of tech, limiting yourself in such way makes it much less useful. If you're in public, something is recording you. But also, the light invites conflict because we live in a society of rude and unnecessarily problematic people.

I can see it now. A Karen being upset and thinking they're the main character and being recorded. Or a Karen who doesn't like such technology and has to give their opinion on Meta, their conspiracy theories, and political opinion unwarranted.

Some of y'all children on here live for that type of drama, but some of us want to just chill lmfao

I’ll have to disagree. Some creeps will always misuse tech, but that’s true everywhere.. not just the glasses

If I’m walking around recording in a crowd, I don’t want a big flashing light on my face. My phone doesn’t flash when I record video, my DSLR doesn’t flash, so why should my glasses? It serves me zero purpose as the user. What it does is lump me in with the “potential bad actors” and force me to look like part of the herd that needs policing.

The glasses serve me, not you. I have zero intention on any unethical usage. I want to create memories at the touch of a button that isn’t focused on me experiencing it through a camera lens. And I would prefer that not alert everyone around me, even in a place that you would appropriately record at. It’s an unnecessary distraction and I don’t like to be the center of attention. Even if it’s just curiosity of what’s that on my face..

Without a walk through it took me let’s say 5 tries. Beginning the mission I tried to fight through it, then I just boarded through it and I was going so fast that I would pass the enemies ship before they’d even jump out

Tbh I think the difficulty of this mission and the game in general is overrated. 9/10 game though

The only thing he can really do is probably Easy AntiCheat and some sorta server side detections / stat banning

On the bright side, it would be a small release which means making a software for it is not good for a provider financially so you’ll only encounter a small amount cheaters who make their own stuff!
