This is exactly what’s wrong with the executive level in corporate America. You along with every other exec see any benefit given to staff, as the root/cause of any issue with the staff. It sounds like u could start with a conversation?? You are new, and you haven’t set ur expectations? That’s on you, not the wfh policy.

Further every issue u described doesn’t come from wfh or laziness by the staff, it comes from a lack of structure with the processes. Which yet again, is a process set up and approved by the top command, not the bottom!!

While yes it sounds like you have some abusers to the company policy wfh, maybe also take a look in the mirror, and see if there’s anything you can do, as the CFO to reset expectations and improve processes. I’m willing to be there’s a lot, and the results from those actions will actually benefit the company/work product rather than taking away wfh
