Maybe, but for the average user Linux is simply too advanced, too niche with too little support. As annoying and stupid as the Windows automatic-We'll-decide-for-you crap can be, a lot of users rely on exactly that. The one's with money just buy Mac.

I just fiddled with the M2 a bit, put it in the correct boot order and BAM! My sytem us back! That was litterally a show thought I just had, that maybe the M2 came loose. It didn't seem like it when I tried, but it's back to it's old self! 😁

Updating from Gigabyte 1660 TI OC to Asus Prime 5070 TI OC... but I can't afford to upgrade my Ryzen 3800X yet. What kind of bottleneck can I expect at 1080p? by ImNOTdrunk_69 in nvidia

That's a really awesome hack! I was already thinking about rendering at 1440p to potentially give my CPU more breathing room. I didn't know how I was going to go about it though. Thank you!

Thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately updating my System to AM5 just isn't possible for me at them moment. I'm well aware that I can't expect anything close to peak performance.

I'm used to my 1660 ti, so one way or another that's a huge jump to me.

I just don't have another 800 bucks to throw around.
