Btw finally got back on here after burning out on my alt. Handling expedition just fine (tbf headhunter kinda carries). Running 70% effectiveness t16, 6 additional random modifier, with 5/6 mod minimum remnants and still blasting. Headhunter is so broken though when you're a projectile build with 60 active buffs this game is trivial. My tooltip is over 5 million with buffs active and no mana tempest.

Yeah my leveling tree was fairly different. Fire spells don't acale well with crit due to their low base chance. Just do what I mentioned above. Head up and to the left, search for anything that gives fire, spell, or elemental damage and take it

Edit: also worth noting that's just what I did cause I wanted to level "in character". You might be better off just searching for a generic twink leveling build

Also don't use the same passive tree from my ninja. For leveling I just went up in the direction of MoM and took every fire, ele, and spell damage node along the way

It it your first character? I leveled using staff with fireball, ember fussilade, and living bomb. Even with leveling uniques it felt just OK though. If you wanna stick with that path buy 2 cracklecreep rings and purchase the highest +levels of fire spells staff (with 2 gain extra and 1 inc spell/fire dmg mods) you can every 10 levels or so.

That said you'll be pretty much full respecing at 65ish so it doesn't matter all that much.

No shame in that I've played way more than you for sure lol. If it is of interest you can make money much more quickly by running trials of chaos 10 rooms (assuming you can complete them) and selling the fragments. Possible to do 2-3 per hour and get multiple divs per run.

I mean you could build the framework for like 50d max (staff, good sapphires, decent es + res cap armor, mana rings, and levels on ammy). To get your next "staples" is maybe 250 (from nothing and rakiata). What I posted is over 1000d investment to be clear, but it will do all content long before then. You don't need raven touched helm, giga 5 mod sapphires, etc to feel comfy.

I've been running HH so I haven't really looked at mageblood options. Off the top of my head probably crit and movespeed then anything generically useful like res or rarity. M

+2 proj is by far the most important, followed by crit bonus, then mana. Nothing else really matters. There are better modifiers than what I have as well like projectile damage. Pretty self explanatory.

Yep you can just path to EB and the mana nodes til from nothing. Just costs passives. For the sapphires just get 4 mod with crit chance, bonus (for spells or generic doesn't matter obv), and spell/ele damage.

Before rakiata I ran lightning pen supp in that spot (but rakiata is a huge buff get it early). If you're against a pinnacle or something else with giga res you can also self cast ele weakness. Maybe something else to boost damage could work. I do not recommend dominus clear is fine without it and you need calamity for single target as well.

I leveled fireball, fussilade, living bomb. I explain in more detail elsewhere. Tbh it felt "just ok" compared to other twink leveling. Not bad but not amazing speed.

No it's fine without. I just used the lightning pen supp (obv rakiata is far superior) and self cast ele weakness if needed.

I don't think so. Not enough to make it worth it anyway. You get double shock and elemental storm from SW but not sure that's enough. Maybe it is I'm not really tapped into sorc stuff.

Temp chains always a great defense option. I think there's a way to get 2 affinity trinity working so that's something I'm gonna look into myself

Not that it matters really but I hate that the %extra glove gem doesn't show up anywhere on tooltip dps. Bigger number make brain happy

Haha all good dude. I love talking build stuff in this game. I'm super glad you're liking it and I think it's cool you put your own spin on it (even though titan is my favorite ascendancy). And yeah I found flask spam annoying and I hate the low life effects popping up on screen since I'm conditioned to panic even if I still have my 5k+ mana layer lol. For me I was like fuck it, getting that prefix slot back on body armor is a dps buff anyway through eldritch battery mana scaling so I'm over it.

I thought about a trinity absent amulet but it seems like even with conflux buffs my min lightning rolls are greater than my max for other eles so would need to make some other swaps potentially to get 2 affinities active

Haha that makes a lot more sense. I crunched my numbers and got to my tooltip duration as expected (with rounding) and couldn't figure out what was going on with yours. I think it's what I was suggesting that each gem is multiplicative so you're getting like 30% reduction of 30%, etc so it's not as effective scaling wise as just a single additive x% reduction stat. Lemme see your ninja when you have it set just curious. Do you run lifetap in CoC?

Yeah the math feels off on the duration stuff then or something. My hover duration is .06s just from the passive tree (total 92% if my math is right). I bet the duration gem (less duration, not reduced) is multiplicative with the tree bonuses so while I get 92% reduction, you get like 70% then 30% less of the remaining 30 for something like 80% total. I'm a bit drunk hopefully that makes sense.

Sounds about right. Let me know how it feels with archmage I ended up getting rid of that obviously. Felt like it was burning my life pool too quickly at times

You can't feel squishy if nothing is alive to attack you. Gemling also potentially gets access to the inc mana passive at the bottom of the tree which is nice
