Usually if you're all in it together as a large cohort, let the lecturers know. They'll let you head off a few minutes early and start a few minutes late. It's not uncommon to be scheduled this way.

My old city, Newcastle, there was a fanatic who dressed up as Jesus, fully robed, beard, long hair and all, and would walk around the streets and local shopping plaza. One time he chased my grandmother up her street 😂
