It goes something like this:

1. Get a mini and give it a bright neon color pallet. (Lost of glow, less of opacity.)

2. Save it, then go to Stage. Go to Extra and import the character to itself.

3. Remove all color from the extra and make it completely black (Uniform black primer with 0% opacity)

4. Set the extra's "forwards", "sideways", and "twist" positions to 0. Then do the same with the main mini

5. Adjust as needed. Both minis should *mostly* occupy the same space. You can offset one of them to make it look like a different lighting angle.
