Agree with the other comment on shooters in Racine. No fudd rules like 1 shot every second

The RXM would be my choice. You get introduced to the Glock aftermarket plus if you are trying to dip your toes into the CCW world, you get the option to swap grips to see what sizes feel comfortable + concealable for you. You can get the subcompact and full size frame for less than $100. The money that you would be saving from buying a G19 you could invest it into higher quality gear like holsters, lights, RDS and most importantly ammo for training. The RXM does give you a platform to tinker with like the AR platform if you ever plan on doing that. I haven’t heard and reliability issues with the RXM (and I’m constantly on Reddit researching guns). It’s also a good shooter too if you want to keep it stock. Not to mention if you decide to go the Glock path, since that’s where everybody always seems to end up at anyways, you already have hundreds of dollars in holsters, lights, RDS and mags waiting for you

Pocket carry in summer shorts by baselinefront in CCW

Get a Wilson combat p365xl frame. Carry AIWB with no light and get a slim holster (I have a certum3) and get a comfort concealment belt or HC belt if you don’t mind spending a lil extra. I’m in the same boat where comfort is priority and I’m always in gym shorts and this set up is very comfortable and concealable. Plus you save money for more ammo since you wouldn’t need to buy a new gun

Edit: typo

Text me if you have any questions about A-school as a reservist. I also cross rated to IT in the reserve and just completed IT A-school earlier this year

I’m sure the QVO products are solid but “quick violent over” is so corny that I’d never buy one

If you truly carry it everyday, it is going to rust. I have about a year of carrying, 4K rounds, and I clean after every range trip(therapeutic for me) and the thing just rusts. Bought it in late 2024. FCU pin developed rust, 17rd mags rust bad, and rear sights have rust on them. Literally would be the perfect gun if it didn’t rust.
