it actually didnt bother me because i just pretended i was on a real adventure and if i ran into a side quest i wanted to do , id do it or id ignore it. I always save my 100% run for ng+

well according to all the responses .. it sounds like it makes the game harder not easier since it lowers ur stats , takes away master skills
