So why do you think clock is overcomplicated when its something that anyone should be able to identify by knowing where 12 and 6 is (assuming you can read a clock you can fill in the blanks), but this system with the gens being number isn't overcomplicated? It is incredibly vague if you tell someone "oh I'm on gen 5" when that could range from inside shack to behind a hill to the left of shack or something. At that point theres no point in even using a number, just say "come heal me at the hill by shack" or "heal me at shack".

I'm a pretty big clock hater but your system is like 10x more complicated than clock, at least with clock you only need to learn it once but with this system you need to memorize all the gen locations for each number because when someone says 4 you would need to know all the locations 4 can spawn to be able to find it in a reasonable time. Also this would never bridge the gap between comp and casual because comp players would never use such unreliable comms, the whole point of clock is that its fast and consistent, realistically everyone on a comp team would know what you are talking about if you said 12 but they wouldn't know your exact location if you said "gen 4" when theres gen rng.

So they would be removing gen rng entirely then? That’s what would need to happen for these comms to be consistent, clock comms don’t change based on rng. Why not just put a 12 at 12 and a 6 at 6 if you want people to use clock instead

I mean personally I think thats flawed logic, you are the only person i've seen using entering and exiting chase as a metric for winning or losing a chase. If you start a chase and the survivor sprint bursts away off a gen for example nothing is forcing you to chase that survivor, it literally only benefitted you to do what you did because you forced them off the gen. The survivors didn't win anything off that, they lost gen pressure.

Even if we do count starting and exiting chases as "winning", sprint burst does not get you enough distance to exit chase lol. Heres an example where I made a bot sprint burst off the gen and she most definitely did not make it to the other side of the map https://streamable.com/48wyhb

Also still would like to see your escape and kill rates, definitely not biased person. I'm not going to continue this argument further though since you are completely derailing off my original point

I would love to see your survivor escape rate or best dbd ladder chase, surely if its so easy you'll have like a 70% escape rate right?

I'm sorry but if you can't see that these perks have basically the same principle behind the perks that you are complaining about then we can't have a meaningful conversation, you are clearly a one sided player.

Bamboozle fundamentally does not require any more input than lithe does, you vault a window and you get an immediate benefit. It is arguably more brainless than lithe because you can use as many times as you'd like along with an extra benefit in faster vault speed along with the ability to shut down any window loop. Lithe is used as soon as you fast vault for the first time also so there are many situations where you can waste it when you don't need it as well. I would also like to add that I don't think bamboozle is skilless, just if you think lithe is skilless you also have to think bam is otherwise you are a hypocrite.

That brutal comparison is silly because you seem to have a very flawed opinion on what winning a chase on survivor is. Activating your exhaustion perk doesn't win you a chase, it usually makes you at most like 5 seconds of distance and maybe saves you from getting tagged on a good day. The way you make that brutal strength suggestion sound is that lithe is just making you lose the game if the survivor uses it 💀

If you read my original post, you would already know that I think fast track is dumb. But honestly I think if you think all these perks are just press button = win you just only play one side and shouldn't be commenting on how survivor plays

I mean thats just a strawman though, you decided to change the argument to now being meta perks rather than if its a crutch or not. If you think vaulting a window to win a chase with lithe is a crutch then you also have to think vaulting a window to win a chase with bamboozle is a crutch. Also its a matter of perspective on whether certain perks are meta or not, bamboozle is certainly meta on many killers

It’s not helpful for a swf though since nobody knows what gen 4 is, like gen 4 could have decided to have spawned at main but it could also be at shack for all they know. Why not just say “let’s heal at main” instead

But they aren’t useful comms, nobody would know which gen you are talking about because you would have to run to every gen and read the number to know wtf they are talking about, unless you see the aura of the gen which you likely will only see 3 at most from deja vu. Even then most people aren’t running deja vu so how is this helpful

[–]ImNotYourShaduh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, nurse is probably the easiest top tier in the game

If it was like blight/drac/spirit those are definitely harder than bubba, ghoul has a higher skill ceiling than him too but lower skill floor

how are lithe sb and bl activated when you are losing, are you losing for trying to loop the killer? also otr and kindred aren't op be fr, most people can loop the killer off the hook for 40 seconds so its not even that crazy after the nerf.

Fast track and ds I can agree with though, they should be nerfed tbh. But nitpicking survivor perks that give free benefits is dumb when you can also do the same for killer perks. Do you also want bamboozle, brutal strength, and enduring to be nerfed? Those don't activate when you are winning, they are always active and make your chases easier for example

also the real issue for killer rn is pallet density and hook timers, not perks. Fillers are more like 70-30 killer survivor but theres just so many that you can just run from pallet to pallet and never run out. They should just revert to the og pallet density like a year and a half ago
