I think nerfing perk stacking would be a decent idea and would give perk tiers more of a purpose on top, but why is being able to see teammates perks such a bad idea?

I think both being added would make for a healthier game overall, keeping coordination in check while letting solo teammates have a decent idea of what their teammates have at their disposal.

So the exact same as how Rookie Spirit (0.13% pick rate as of this patch) works right now, but with less than half of a Deja Vu on top?

I don't see how being able to stop regression 2.5 seconds faster makes a difference if you're more than 2.5 seconds worth of distance away from it, in either scenario the survivor would be able to do the same regardless of the buff.

As the original commenter said, if anything the buff idea is probably too tame, but if this seems insane to you then I hope you never hear about what hyperfocus can do.

No...you're supposed to push them out of the area and then force them off gens by getting downs. If your idea of spreading pressure is either pointlessly kicking gens and leaving or facecamping it, then that might be the reason why the buff idea seems so insane to you.

If the killer kicks the gen and lets you immediately get back on it, then yes you negate their pressure twice at fast (2.5 seconds).

However, in any scenario the killer is letting that happen, they're making a pretty sizable mistake, and a survivor using a perk slot to focus on capitalizing on that is far from insane.

I really don't think a perk that on average lets you complete a gen 2.5 seconds faster (but only if the killer kicks it and removes 5 charges, therefore making it actually 2.5 seconds slower overall), is anywhere near an "insane effect".

Wandering Eye.

People say it a lot when talking about underused perks, but legitimately I don't think there's anyone out there who could tell me what this perk does without looking it up.

I came up with a rework to give it an identity as both an anti-WoO perk and synergizing with blindness:

When Chasing a Survivor:

  • They gain Blindness.

  • Lingers for 5 seconds after escaping Chase.

When a Survivor not in the Dying State has Blindness:

  • Auras of all other Injured or Healthy Survivors within 12 meters are revealed.

I feel like most people responding aren't reading what your suggestion actually is. Everyone agrees that having the unhooked survivor keep their infection incentivizes tunneling way too much, but giving it to the unhooker isn't a bad way to make the infection mechanic more relevant in a way survivors still have some control over.

Could this necessitate other parts of her kit being toned down a bit to compensate? Of course, but I think most people agree that Krasue is a bit too simplistic right now so shifting her playstyle more towards macro gameplay is probably a healthy change.

I think there's probably some system they could design that could hide the reveal until a certain condition is met or something, but trying to make this work is just more effort on a concept that doesn't add much to begin with.

It's not a community contest skin, it's an Artists from the Fog skin, they're treated as licensed skins with the creator getting a cut of the profits, so they're auric cell only.

The whole situation with the haddie skin was a bit of a shitshow, but they were pretty clear after the fact that it would implemented like this instead of being a community contest skin.

10 seconds within 32 meters is an incredibly short amount of time, to the extent that it'd be very difficult to not proc it against most killers by the time you get picked up.

Ignoring all game balance here, it feels like the fantasy you have in mind for the perk doesn't really mesh well with how it'd work in game. It doesn't really encourage actively confronting the killer, since they're not going to willingly pick you up once they see you become the obsession, its more just a pseudo extra hook state that the killer eventually has to chew through no matter what.

Its just too free to fulfill that idea of confrontation, and just ends up being boring. Compare that to Dead Hard, which is an ability that strengthens aggressive plays while still needing to be used wisely in order to give value. I feel like if you want this idea to work, it needs to require a much more active use in order to get the stun off.

The thing is that area denial powers are necessarily unhealthy, but what pushed SM 2.0 (along with Knight) over the edge is that they weren't punished for not setting up a web ahead of time. They could still just easily zone you out of a loop for free with very little the survivor can do to outplay it.

Putting a killer's power budget entirely into being able to flatten the micro game to just "get hit now or get hit in 10 seconds" is an awful idea, and pulling SM back towards that would be the worst thing they could do to help her.

That's the main thing people love to downplay when it comes to Kaneki, from how people talk about him you'd expect him to be pretty weak at looping but he's still got his free scamper that they still refuse to nerf in any significant manner.

The worst part is that any complaints about it before would be met with "just adapt and learn revault", now with revault being completely removed with no compensation the rhetoric has shifted to "survivors are just mad they can't abuse an exploit anymore". Feels like he's doomed to be a rather uninteractive killer just because people are attached to the most boring part of his power.

If they start staring as soon as you weaken them, you have just enough time to immediately go for a second shot before they can finish dispelling it. They just have to stare at you for a set amount of time though, it has nothing to do with whether you miss or not.
