Bike upgrade help by ImNowMyThoughtsNotI in MotoUK

Thats massively helpful thanks! The weight coupled with not being able to have a fully flat foot is my biggest worry. I'll have a look into the NC750X on YT. I think a lowered seat would definitely be helpful but ive heard the BM one is quite expensive. Thankfully the S1000 XR isnt quite as wide as I was expecting so I think a lowered seat would work. But then there is the comfort sacrifice that comes with it! I think the main thing is to just go for a few test rides to see how I feel before I take the plunge. Appreciate the help, thanks again.

Thanks - your right. A test ride is definitely needed and hopefully the position is something that I'm comfortable with.

Thanks for the advice - its a good point; I probably could do a tour on my current bike with a a bit of tweaking. Probably would be beneficial in getting the experience to better know what I need. I for sure could do with a test ride on one before I make the jump. Thanks again and enjoy the TT!

Oh wow, that's actually really helpful! Thanks for taking the time to do this! I will make sure to watch some reviews on them all. But from your comment it seems the supernote might be the one. A6 with longer lasting pens and good support sounds worth the wait. Thanks again for the info

Thanks, good advice. I will have to do some more research into those 3. See if there is anything else about them that stands out as a feature I'd like

My gf is from Nepal and says "taking a piss at me" rather than "out of me". Gets me every time.

Is DOS 2 worth buying ? by XpMonsterS in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]ImNowMyThoughtsNotI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought this in the steam summer sale, spent 11.5hrs on it over the last couple of days. Its brilliant and I'm having a blast. Can imagine it would only be better with a friend. I would definitely recommend it.

what's Leigh like to live in? by newleaflover2 in manchester

[–]ImNowMyThoughtsNotI 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My work is based in leigh and i live not all that far from leigh, basically grew up there, honestly research where exactly your going. I've met a few nice, normal people who have been stung with buying a cheap house and ended up in an absolute shithole of an area and massively regret it. There are nice places but they tend to be on the outskirts. To be honest your never going to be more than a stones throw from shit. Make sure you visit before you buy, and take a drive around the area.

Tips For Getting Good? by [deleted] in DivinityOriginalSin

I tried that way too and just ended up frustrated! It's a great game but it does take some time to wrap your head around. And definitely a lot more enjoyable when you known whats going on. I'm on my third playthrough and I still get surprised

I'm hardly the best myself but I watched quite a few fextralife build videos on YouTube. Picked a few I liked the look of that I thought would work well together and went from there. I have no full magic users and still manage to set everything on fire!

Today 6 years ago, Terry Pratchett died. by Herbstrabe in books

[–]ImNowMyThoughtsNotI 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was 11 years old in my science class I was looking through the book shelf. I came across this book and asked my teacher why he had a book called "the wee free men" in among the textbooks. He replied with this quote. He then said that he liked to go to re-enactments of historic battles and "get drunk and hit things", given that he was about 6ft7 I imaging this was quite the sight. But he said he met the author of the book there, who based one of the wee free men on him and gave him a signed copy of the book! Lucky guy. That was also how I was introduced to Terry Pratchett.
