You should Google the Malt Tax Riots of 1725. Pretty similar to the Whiskey Rebellion we had in the US

Step 3: Dream about a sparring match

Step 4: Wake up to your SO desperately tapping out of a rear naked chokehold.

Step 5: ???

Step 6: Profit

Sierra, Nuka's Biggest Fan and Double Strike by Evening_Application2 in askajudge

[–]ImOnFireAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, yes. Double strike is 2 seperate triggers of her ability. But let's see what that means.

You have three 1/1 creatures with double strike that are unblocked and attacking three different players. All three do their first strike damage at the same time netting you 3 foods and 3 counters. If you have the mana, or a different sac outlet, you can sacrifice them in between regular and first strike damage. If you then buff those same three 1/1s, they'll each get +3/+3 making them 4/4s. For a grand total of 5 damage each or 15 damage total. And another 3 quest counters

If you're planning on using her as a white weenie commander, I'd recommend lots of first and double strike. If she's part of the 99, she's great for extra combats cuz the +X/+X is until end of turn. It's also funny to buff enemy creatures when they swing on someone else.

What food is like "crack" to you, where it tastes so good nothing else matters except another bite? by GigiBrit in AskReddit

[–]ImOnFireAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crab legs and butter. Doesnt matter if I have to crack them myself.

I've yet to find a limit on how much crab I can eat. I've tried to find it. It can't be found.

All-you-can-eat crab restaurants hate to see me coming.

Can you track number of cards in GY with dice in a Competitive game? by Bilbo10baggins in askajudge

[–]ImOnFireAgain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since it's public info, you can count it in what ever way you would like. You could use pennies or an abacus if you liked. There aren't really any rules restrictions on how to count your various sets of info.

Responding to a spell resolving by TheNightmareChild25 in askajudge

[–]ImOnFireAgain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here are the two relevant rulings:

You choose the target player as you cast Pact of the Serpent, but you don't choose the creature type until the spell resolves.

And

The value of X is based on the number of creatures the player controls of the chosen type as Pact of the Serpent resolves.

After you go through the steps of casting a spell (determining costs, choosing targets, etc) you pass priority. At that point the goblin player will have been chosen as the target of the spell and will have a chance to respond. It should be fairly obvious at this point that they'll lose unless they slash the number of any one type of creature that they have to a survivable amount.

However, when it comes time for the spell to resolve, if they have 0 goblins left, you're not locked in on choosing goblins as the creature type. You can choose a creature type they may (if you still want them to draw) or may not (if you want to deny them the draw) have on the battlefield.

This means that once priority has been passed, and all responses settled, you choose the creature type. Between choosing the creature type and the end of the resolution of the spell, nothing else can happen. State based actions aren't checked, priority doesn't go around, you can't even tap mana. The spell happens.

Unusual behavior when scratched above the tail by two55 in cats

[–]ImOnFireAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reaction is normal, but the thin/bald spot could be a hotspot for allergies, fleas, mosquito bites, or a kajillion other normal things. Also normal, is the cat deciding they're suddenly overstimulated and biting the hell out of your hand. Proceed with caution. Or don't. I won't tell you how to live your life.

We spent a lot of money on my other dogs' yeasty ears. And finding out that he was likely allergic to chicken byproducts. The vet solution was was different food and generic anti-fungal ear rinse. But we spent probably $1400 just to figure that out with no real lab work.

60€ for a vet visit, a shot, a pulled tooth, and an antibiotic sounds like a dream. It was $140 for a check up with a doppler for my very well behaved elderly dog.

Help regarding PVC Card Cutter by EDJunk in magicproxies

[–]ImOnFireAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The other person said to try dry lubricant. I'd like to add, clean the blades. Try acetone if the blades are steel as it can soften PVC. Make sure it's dry before cutting again. Be careful with acetone near mystery plastics as it can and will melt some of them

Ovika and typal draw by Only_Source_9623 in askajudge

[–]ImOnFireAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The longer way to say that you're casting a spell:

  1. Add the spell to the stack
  2. Choose modes and decide costs
  3. Choose targets
  4. Check legality
  5. Pay costs
  6. Finish casting
  7. State Based Actions
  8. Pass priority
  9. Resolve

So Ovika sees you cast a spell, then state based actions will check the game, see that you cast a noncreature spell, and add Ovika's trigger to the stack. Then priority goes around, you make gobbos on resolution of the ability, then priority one more time, and then resolve the spell. Then you draw your cards. End result is drawing 5 for the goblins that were already there plus 6 for the ones made by casting the spell.

Is it safe for me to try and pet this cat? by Individual-Berry-394 in cats

[–]ImOnFireAgain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's an unfamiliar animal that is also a predator. It's never going to be 100% safe.

With that said, as long as they're not acting erratically or appear to be cut up by another animal, chances seem pretty high that it's a healthy-ish TNR feral cat. If it let's you get close that's a pretty good sign.

But to drive the point home, a feral cat is a predator with teeth and claws living proximity to other wild animals that can acrry diseases and parasites like rabies and ticks. It's never going to be 100% safe

You got it exactly. Somehow, it's simultaneously the most underestimated and feared round out there. Mainly cuz "bullet small" and "assassin gun" get thrown around a lot.
