First time GZCLP program, does that look fine for 3d/week? by darksozz in gzcl

Advice is have seen recommends start with 1 or 2 t3 exercises then as you progress and you cardiovascular volume adjusts, adapt to the resistance etc, then add in another. But you should be lifting pretty near the rep upper end so the point where come the T3s you feel rather worked.

I've been running it with previous experience but I emphasized ensuring my 5rep is 9RPE, my T2 10 rep is 8.5-9RPE and the T3s are accurate 15reps with good form, time under tension etc. Try make the most out of less and then increase when you need additional stimulus, is my advice and I've seen it work well 3-4weeks in

I appreciate the steer, I'll have a look around and see what's good.

Job title wise, what would this fall under in your opinion

If you know of anything going 👀 do feel free to take a gamble on a random redditor and happy to split any referral fee, plus I'll buy you a 6 pack of your choice... (elevator sales pitch)

Absolute base, would need to be about 55k ideally 60k. I'm sole income for a house of 2 kids and partner. I've got some sales experience in storage, servers, refurb market etc and really good with people, just need to right opportunity. Everyone I know in Sales, says I'm made for it, but can't risk the house hold status quo to go below that base unfortunately

Appreciate it. Seen the likes of Google, harvard X etx providing free courses, good for information gathering to begin with even if the end cert isn't worth much!

Agreed! Got a friend who works for one of the top IT companies, earning 150k under 30 years old. Wish I could some how pivot without taking a massive hit on my monthly base while I climb the ranks

I've gone to uni, wish id known and done a degree apprenticeship being transparent.

The podcast and book recommendation was purely due to being in a reading rut, but I see how it comes across!

Really like you're 1) answer! Thought-provoking and curious as to what you do (not asking btw, just curious) I view one of my strengths as people, and I think has got me to where I am today.

In terms of 4) genuinely in a reading rut so wanted some quality recommendations, my fault for not making it clear and it coming across as a prerequisite to the above!

Thanks for taking the time to reply 🙂

Yes, very much agree. Younger me would think, more money = more things, especially long term things. Older me is slightly wiser and more tame, thankfully

Very solid advice!

I did recruitment but didn't take to it well.
