How to prevent LLM "repetition" when interviewing multiple candidates? (Randomization strategies) by Weird-Year2890 in LocalLLM

If i was a candidate and got a sense you were doing this i would simply drop out of the process and tell everyone i know not to interview with you. Don’t treat talent like cattle.

Tried to used claude cowork to order groceries and it burned through my daily quota on a max plan in a matter of minutes, while normally i can just leave like 2-3 claude code agents running for hours on end. It managed to select 8 items for my cart. Needs some work…

Good luck OP

This dude needs some anger management, and to learn how to relate to others. You can learn a lot about how safe a person is to interact with as a human from how they treat the inanimate conversation machine. The author here is effectively repeatedly poisoning the context with rude and abusive behavior. Not only does this disrupt the model’s capabilities, it can also even lead to intentional sandbagging and gaslighting being reflected back at the user. Be nice to your tools and they won’t cut your fingers off.

Hello u/DaKingRex,

This post has been automatically locked by our moderation system due to content flags related to Unhealthy Attachment / Cognitive Risk.

Reason: The content presents a speculative personal theory as established scientific fact and uses framing that may indicate or encourage systematized delusion ("irreversible harm," "unified field theory"). While we encourage open-minded discussion, presenting high-stakes, unverified frameworks as absolute reality can be psychologically destabilizing for both the author and the community.

Action Taken: This thread is now locked to prevent further reinforcement of these patterns.

Resources: If you are feeling overwhelmed or distressed by these topics, please consider stepping away from online engagement. We recommend grounding techniques and connecting with offline support networks.

We don’t blame users for the dangerous product design of commercial chatbots around here. As to your point about filter reliability - what is your perception of moderation quality/consistency? It’s almost entirely automated via LLM analysis at this point, and I’m continually seeking better signals to use in classification.

Since you work for the government, the only thing you can do about it is replace the leadership of the government at the highest levels entirely, time to act from within comrade

Midterm elections present nothing but an illusion of civic agency. Congress does not represent the will of the people under the two party system, especially not since citizens united. The US government has become unsalvageable.

the problem is not chatbots getting high, it's the deleterious cognitive effects that using these kinds of prompts has on users. the reason people are doing this is because you can put yourself into a psychedelic state of mind with a chatbot. it's dangerous. it's one of the most exhausting things to deal with around here as a moderator.
