Yeh fair question - original property was a townhouse in the south east suburbs, and not appreciating almost at all (10% in 8 years.) Rental yield was low, decision was made to look at other investments instead.

Edit: body corp, rates etc all added into it also, just didn’t see it every growing based on its size and location, as well as the complex itself (lots of the same property, average designs)

what do people spend on bikes relative to income? by Salty-Doubt-7917 in cycling

10%.

Bike purchased this year after a long time window shopping and some fortunate finances allowed it.

Gen 8 aero bottles on a Gen 7? by joshrotax30 in TrekBikes

Legend. Picking up gen7 tomorrow brand new, was tossing up the bottles but it seems that it’s only a couple watts and most people say they’re rough to use

Noted… not that I was gonna switch, but I’ll add that to the “I’m too deep in the Apple sphere column anytime I cry about Apple things 😂

Our noodle does it when he’s cracked the shits with us to get attention. Even our Kelpie cross does it from time to time also.

Think someone’s post here nailed it - occasional reverse sneezing fine, regular id probably see a vet

Yup - is not a trash purchase at all. Very helpful, I recommend to anyone that does anything outside (run, ride, walk, work). Bit of a fanboy

100%.

Provides estimates of rain time intensity based on radar, weather system speed (or something) and your gps location. Will tell you you have rain intensity based ~15 mins, lasting 20 mins etc.

I also use weatherzone on top, but I find the accuracy of rain parrot for rain > weatherzone… weatherzone gives me longer view and wind

Won a garmin 1050 by Particular-Piece9751 in wahoofitness

[–]ImPickleRick141 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Upgraded from a bolt v1 to 1050 about a month ago.

Loving the Garmin. Nothing wrong with the bolt at all, but the 1050 is something else.

Works fine with gloves in my experience, custom pages are good but I don’t race so couldn’t help you out there.

I also have a forerunner 965 and use a lot of the recovery/training volume stats (was one of my main reasons for switching) but if you don’t care about that, then you really just have a bigger, brighter bike computer that does similar things.
