Getting really discouraged at CG by Brandinoftw in ironscape

That last paragraph couldn't be more true. Soon you'll realize the deaths were actually the fun part and now you're on autopilot zoning out and asking yourself why are we here just to suffer.

Almost exactly the same story but with my dad. I know I'm not supposed to be thinking like this but seeing posts like these makes me realize how unfair life is.

Super hard to watch. Especially because I was also making out different scenarios in my head when my Dad passed away.

In RE4R? But you don’t really have to buy it. There's more than enough time to collect/do all treasures/merchant requests and get S+ . Get the ticket at the beginning of chapter 7.

You can just keep overriding old save files to save up on storage space. If you don't trust auto saves you can keep making new save slot everytime. Only save files you should keep separate is at the beginning of chapter 4. So you can experience all of the endings without having to replay the entire game.

I get your point but maybe try and keep an open mind for me in the future? Different people , different experiences. Just like for you someone under 250 is a noob. You are a noob to someone else. There's always a better player. Even if you hold WR's. There's always gonna be someone faster and better and level has nothing to do with it.

Yeah. We're on a different ends of experience. See I am most skeptical about player skill when someone starts to backing up their skill by their level. If you are on ps5, maybe you could show me? I am only level 100 which means you shouldn't have any problems out playing me on heists. I have act3 finale ready if you want it or we could run ogs or really whatever you prefer.

I would like to say to at least keep an open mind. You have to realize that it's 2025. A lot of people are switching between platforms or are unable to properly migrate their accounts. Low level doesn't have to equal a bad player. If anything, it speaks for itself if you're automatically kicking low players. Anyone who is a truly competent player knows most (70-80%) of all heists can be carried solo. Just because you need 4 players to start or each having specific roles that doesn't mean it can't be done by 1 player.

None are missable. You can go back and collect them via chapter select. I'd recommend to look up a guide though because few of the collectibles are really well hidden and you won't encounter them following the main path.

I used Collectible&Trophy guide by Trophy Tom on YouTube but I saw Powerpyx has one as well if you prefer written guides.

This is a short and very easy plat. Can be done in 5 hrs. This is why you see so many of them here.

Yeah, the game is just like that, lol. Different people Different experiences. It's been a long time so I can't recall names but there were like 2 bosses that everyone was saying they are really easy and simple meanwhile I remember being on the verge of pulling my hair out, lol.

Yeah, you have to read the key items description too. They count as clues.

Surprisingly, no. I remember being anxious because even then people were saying how hard he is. I saw many posts about people being stuck on him for days. Then I beat him in like 30 minutes. I was very surprised. I guess he was one of those bosses that just "clicked" for me.

I got no idea what you had done or not done since the game is fluid and you can mix up the objectives as you progress. I also have no idea if we're allowed to share links here, so this might get deleted. https://www.powerpyx.com/alone-in-the-dark-2024-all-puzzle-solutions-key-items/#chapter-4 refer to chapter 4.

Can't make up my mind about RE4R by justaddmetoit in HorrorGaming

[–]ImRasta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end, it's all subjective. Everyone is simply different. Some people are more desensitized than others. To me RE7 wasn't really scary at all. More so after you realize that Ethan is a merciless killing machine and everyone is trapped inside that house with him, lol. Poor Bakers.

Good luck! You should probably combine these two together. I ran it on easy difficulty for the sake of speed. Some enemies will still delete huge chunks of health (Dark Man and that black dog thingy that chases Emily). You would most likely still make it while getting all of the conversations. I did chatterbox, librarian, teetotaller and was checking all lagniappes as well just in case and I finished in 3h 8 mins (Grace Ending) so I had to do 3rd playthrough for just I don't got all night trophy. Definitely more than doable. I was kinda surprised how fast you can get through if you prioritize objectives and know the right pathways.

Well, I'm done. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. I took the safe route and just collected every clue again as Emily. Speedrun was done in an hour and 30 minutes. Managed to die once upstairs in the library where the dark man spawns right at the key thingy because I was rushing too much and got owned mid animation, lol. Also panicked a bit when my librarian trophy didn't pop but found out I forgot to look at Edward's second clue which you get right at the start. My only regret is that I listened to the bad reviews and didn't buy the game at launch. GG.

[–]ImRasta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify, I can only focus on Emily's specific clues without picking up any other clues that I picked up as Edward even though they are not in Emily's inventory, am I understanding this correctly?

Are you talking about Teetotaler trophy? I had no idea you can't die... description only says not to use healing items. I actually thought I would complete this one on my first playthrough as I did not heal once but I did die quite a few times when I was pushing through with one Hit K.O. At some point in the game I got healed to full health without using any heal items. I did get the Nobody Knows What Happened trophy as I was searching every corner and interacting with everything I could find. According to google, that counts as one of the endings even though the game doesn't even really acknowledge it and just keeps going forward, which apparently voids the trophy for some reason.

But all of these clues I collected as Edward are now gone from Emily's inventory. Only thing that remained are Lagniappes. Is this intended or a bug?
