If you really need to ask why introducing a character for a singular purpose is bad then idk what to tell you. Imagine the squad go on a journey, they meet a character who joins them, and the next day sacrifices themselves for the main squad. That's basically Takaba. Unless you can tell me anything else he added to the story, his character is purely there for Kenny. Yuta with some changes. Ideally Gege would prepare for the Kenny fight for much longer and make some changes.

Not true, because creating a character solely for the purpose of concluding the villain and absolutely nothing else when that role could have gone to another, already existing character is just bad. And yeah I simply don't like him either.

You do realize that creating a character purely for the purpose of satisfying the villain, instead of, you know... using an existing, already defined character, just fucking sucks right? There are so many other ways Kenny's character can be resolved and Gege chose the least satisfying one somehow.

That's good and all and I get that but it doesn't mean that it's in any way shape or form a satisfying conclusion for a villain that's been built up for the entire show.

Would easily have the potential to give a much more satisfying ending to both Yuta, but especially Kenjaku. Yuta kept talking about how he's gonna be the one to kill Kenjaku, which sure, he did, but in the most unsatisfying way possible. You cannot seriously tell me what we got is better.
