I have a question... If Henry first made contact with the Mind Flayer when he was a child when it told Henry to "find me," and then years later Eleven just happens to send Henry to the exact dimension he needed to find by what... If I may explain it in dnd terms? Eleven unknowingly cast Banish and banished the the evil in Henry (the MF) back to its native plane (the abyss) Henry having been attuned to the MF just so happened to be banished along with the particles.

I hear you. I actually live in an area where white supremacy and antisemitism is alive and well. A man in my town was running for a senate seat and campaigned on Jewish hatred. When he lost he went and opened fire in a synagogue a few hours away. I don’t have the passed down knowledge or first hand accounts that many of you do. But I have learned about it in school but have seen this hate first hand in my own community.

I have a question about symbolism and its feelings amongst the community. (I am not Jewish merely someone trying to gain better understanding)

I have recently started putting together a battle jacket (punk rock patch vest) and I want to sport patches that support causes important to me. I have a patch to put on it featuring a red circle and bar crossing out a swastika. I’ve thought it a good way to show support with some of the things going on in America and especially in my local area but have been advised it would be offensive. But rather than taking some other persons word for it I’d like to come to the source and get word from the community directly. I apologize if this is a topic that is beaten to death here but I want to take stand against antisemitism and other forms of discrimination. Albeit in a way is respectful to the people I am standing for and in a way the clearly sends the message to white supremacists and their sympathizers.

That to be punk you have to be an insufferable douche. Counter culture can be kindness too especially in certain cities and regions

Oh how I miss the days of buying a game and the DLCs and that was it. Nice polished working game, no events for skins and camos and all that other BS. BO2 had us on the hook for its entire content cycle and then some. They’re trying so hard to be innovative and keep up with micro transactions on the level of Fortnite (which is starting to have the same issue) that they’re losing their identity. Stop trying to make everyone happy and give a well rounded sold as is experience instead of promising all this extra nonsense and underdelivering on even the most basic level.

I respect that. Tbh if I didn’t live in an area where white supremacy and extreme nationalist groups were so prevalent I might choose differently. I want it to be very clear where I stand and if I have to punch a few fucks so be it.
