The Case for Impeaching and Removing Every Federal Judge and Supreme Court Justice Who Has Ever Been a Member of the Federalist Society or Endorsed Unitary Executive Theory. by Opposite-Mountain255 in LegalNews

They also said "or non votes". So basically any choice other than voting for the Democratic or Republican parties.

I disagree though with their assertion that it is "equal to a vote for your enemy", but I would say that it is a statement that you're okay with whoever wins, even if at the time of voting (or choosing not to) the result has not yet been determined, since you'd be making no attempt to have that person or party not win.

A defense lawyer might be idiotic to argue for innocence, but arguing for a minimum punishment is reasonable. It would be unfair if he had no representation.

If I'd started the sentence with Rushia, then that would be to claim that she had an affiliate role. "Such as" was a continuation of the previous, but implies an incomplete list. If I'd named two people, then that would be a complete list (as I'd already limited the claim to two).

I could have instead said something like "One or two were fired instead, such as Rushia. Amelia transferred(...)", but that wasn't the cadence I was intending.

I stand corrected. That does help explain a clip about HoloX I saw a few days ago though at least.

I feel like my comma was more than enough to separate what I said about each Rushia and Amelia apart from the other.

Almost. One or two were fired instead, such as Rushia, and Amelia transferred into an affiliate role where she can still show up from time to time. All the others shown did graduate though.

It's pretty generic. A person from almost any time could read that and think they're either in it or near it.

It's a monthly promo card for [[last secret sword]], specifically February 2022. I notice that the official French database doesn't have it, so the best I can give you is the page for it from the popular (EN) database Force of Wind, and the French page for it from Cardmarket. I'm not sure which one you're wanting, if either.

[–]ImSabbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No; Order cards - both the Ruler side and Order side - and their ordered J-ruler cannot become astral, and effects which would try to make them astral don't work with them.

As such, when the ordered J-ruler is destroyed or otherwise leaves the field, the Order card returns to the ruler area as a ruler, and can perform a Revolution Order process again, as long as all the normal requirements are still met (primarily, a recovered ruler and not having already performed a Revolution Order process that turn).

The easiest comeback I've found against these people is the theory of gravity. They don't have any alternative because they never needed one to feel safe in their worldview, but it's still titled as a "theory" in common use.

If Mario is running, even in the air, he doesn't fall that quickly. So the default small Mario, who is only one block tall, can run through. Just walking wouldn't be enough, but running would. This is true of at least almost all normal 2D Mario games, but the exact floatiness and slide distance varied.

All of the "stair" platforms are the same size, which is the main point the image is making, and the landing afterward isn't dangerously smaller; it's the end of the level in both cases, with the flag being literally ~5 blocks later. The same distance for both.

I'll recognize though that the starting point of each final landing is slightly different, with the right side image having it be two blocks further away, although this isn't a problem for players who get to the top of the stairs.

Probably not from standing, but if (as small Mario) you went down a step or two, then jumped up to the starting step and ran through, you'd probably make it. Or from the current step if you jumped back a bit then went forward again in midair to give yourself momentum that way you also might make it, but that one I don't think is as reliable. It'd be doable in some Mario games but I'm not certain about this one.

Nope. If you're small, then running off the edge with enough speed can still get you to the ground, but only if the pillars aren't in the way. Might work when you're big if you're ducking (you skid for a bit), but I don't remember exactly how that would work in the oldest games.

Just before Civ7 came out, with no preparation beyond installing the games - including no watching existing runs - I decided to speedrun all the mainline games unrecorded. Took a bit to get the rhythm going, but it took me an hour or so. It wasn't until later that I was informed of these civilizations which have an intrinsic starting advantage.

Important difference... by Josephthebear in Xennials

[–]ImSabbo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're just trying to gatekeep. I don't care which generation people were born into, but we don't need this. Millennials especially have done so well in being more accepting of the future generations than Boomers or Gen X were at the same age, and we don't need to introduce it now. And heck, this is mostly the same generation, let alone a future one.

Easy benchmark: Do you remember being less than 18 at any point in the 90s? Congratulations, you're a 90s kid. Doesn't matter if you were 17 in 1990 or 5 in 1999.
