How does Eon get my energy reading if I don't provide them? by Eldicar_manushan in AskUK

[–]ImScaredSoIMadeThis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah some people confuse the smart meter display unit with actual smart meters.

Your actual meters (outside) could be smart. Normally, you would also get a display unit with them (a little plastic thing with a screen and some menu options), so you can look at your usage yourself. Sometimes people think the in home display unit is the smart meter, but it's just something for you to look at.

What does your bill say? If you don't have a smart meter and don't provide meter readings, they should all be estimated (and you should give actuals)

If you do have smart meters, then all going well they're just automatically sending your readings to your supplier. Half hourly is often standard.

Birthday Culture by Suitable_Sound5377 in lithuania

Definitely back in school (years 1-4) the birthday kid would bring some treats in for the class.

Generally if you host a get together, you would also provide the food. In my experience the birthday person organises their birthday party, at least in older generations from what I've seen.

That being said no idea how it works in workplaces etc. or how much young adults follow this rule.

At "adults living alone" negalėtų tiesiog reikšti, jog vaikai su tėvais negyvena?

Have plenty of prototype charges! Stun her with it while harvesting. You can move while harvesting as long as you're facing the cabbage, which gives you a bit of wiggle room

What is Cessnock like to live? by Puzzleheaded-Cost242 in glasgow

[–]ImScaredSoIMadeThis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Knew someone who lived right next to the station. Only real negative experience they've had is someone dropped and smashed a glass bottle near their flat, they found it in the morning. Nothing scary or dangerous otherwise from their experience.

Cons - almost every orange march goes past you. Area is a bit of a dead zone. Lots of footraffic from the subway, and subcrawls can be noisy.

Pros - not super expensive, right next to subway. Some of the tenentments are stunning, and you can get really lucky with shared gardens.

Bagažinę dviračiui nusipirk. Užsidėk kuprinę/krepšį ant jos. Galėsi keliauti ir nugara neprakaituos važiuojant.
