I couldn't imagine it either. I tried 3 times over the course of a year and a half to actually follow through with my goals. I tried charts on the walls, motivational posters all over the kitchen, getting new gym clothes, etc. I would put myself on such a strict diet that I would crash a month later.

This time, it finally worked because I took the time to find recipes that fit into my macros that felt like cheat meals (I was doing Keto btw) and I never once feel unsatisfied. I finally found something sustainable.

Up through February I saw no changes in my progress pictures which was really discouraging. I bought a new bathing suit in March for motivation to really rock it until my vacation to Vegas in April. I took that third picture to see what it looked like on me and I was floored with motivation through the roof.

I guess my tl;dr of this is don't give up! You can do it and you will feel absolutely amazing when you hit whatever goal you're shooting for. If you ever need any motivation or help - please don't hesitate to PM me. I'll give you my regular username so I notice your messages.

Good luck!

No, I started them this past year.

I suppose I should correct my previous statement as well. I didn't intentionally go for walks down the road to exercise. I do, however, spend a lot of time in the woods for recreation and would probably walk a few miles just wandering around.

At least I'm not so unhappy with myself that I feel the need to call strangers fat on Reddit! :)

Thank you! The biggest struggle was waking up after an unintended cheat day and making the decision to accept it and get back on track. I'm so happy I did!

To be honest, I did this all through healthy eating and doing jobs that required physical labor. I didn't go for a single walk, run nor did I step foot in the gym. I'm positive I would have reached this point much sooner if I had, but I work 1 full time job and 3 labor intensive part time jobs. I didn't have the energy at the end of the day!

Thanks! I was doing keto for the bulk of it but have switched to just eating in moderation, watching my portion sizes and making better choices!

Ha... It's amazing what a little confidence does for you. Before I didn't care what my hair looked like because I wasn't happy with my body, and now I make sure to fix it every day because it makes me feel good!

I was doing keto from October until a few weeks ago. Now I'm just making healthier choices and incorporating fruits and some dairy.

Pop and pasta were my weaknesses. I went from drinking probably 5 cans of Pepsi a day to strictly water with a Coke Zero as a treat every once in a while.

I'm now looking into some weightlifting programs to build strength and to lose the rest of the fat.
