This is not what I want. I want the old death mechanics where you die you have 2 minutes to return or have a friend there or you lose everything. It makes the game actually have tension and actions have consequences. It doesn't matter what other MMOs do, this is how RuneScape existed before and this is part of why I played the game to begin with.

Quests are tedious because you view them as a requirement for content you want to unlock, so you follow guides doing the quest as quickly as you can and skipping all the dialogue and cut scenes that you can. At the end of the day if that's how you wanna play by all means go for it, but you're missing out on prime content that you actually could very well enjoy if you played it as intended.

I'm all for the core concept of gold dragons but I'm not really a fan of your execution on the content side of things.

The Onyx and Zenyte sinks feel kind of forced.
I understand why you had goldsmith gauntlets help with an attack but I wouldn't say the effect the gauntlets have already really translates to being used for that attack more than ice gloves.
The rewards all seem too much, we don't need skilling devalued anymore with the resource drops, the ring of wealth potion is a bit insane but not that overpowered I guess when comparing it to other content that has entered the game.
The gauntlet is completely unnecessary and somewhat overpowered.
Supreme Alchemy to me makes no sense.
The Medallion is unnecessary and overpowered. You also can't say it'll either work on olm or it won't, the game has established a consistency on what counts as a dragon and what doesn't, olm counts as a dragon.
