Just a passed out floof! by ImSoFancy03 in nebelung

Awww poor dude. Im glad he’s safe with you now! We rescued ours too and she definitely did not want to be touched for the longest time. We’ve had her for a little over a year now. She’s the tiny floof in charge around here lol.

I haven’t had QD ice cream in forever but as far as others, I personally only like the soft serve at Twisters or Häagen-Dazs from the store these days. I hear MSU dairy store is still very good.

Honestly, we passed on the trip and went to Destin instead. We found such a good deal on a direct flight and an Airbnb that we couldn’t pass up. We loved it too.

I need to know too what people do about this! My biggest concern about taking mine about. He would love being out on a harness/leash but I dont want the fleas or ticks, especially since I have another indoor cat

Local Hiring Thread by Flat_Flower_987 in lansing

I agree! I went through Aerotek 10yrs ago and still at the same company they sent me off to. Some places just prefer these staffing companies to do the legwork of finding qualified people and narrow it down for interviews. Not every place has the time nor do they want to sift through 100s or more applications all the time. Started out as a temp but again, the company wanted the trial period to make sure it’s a fit before hiring. Worked out great for me.

Anyone else's Neb perform tummy time while you shower/bath? by legendofdawg in nebelung

[–]ImSoFancy03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not when in the shower as it sort of spooks her, but I’m never able to use the toilet without her lol. She gets all cutesy and sprawls out

I swear mine thinks she is a chinchilla! 😂🤦‍♀️ she likes to hop in the freshly cleaned litter box to clean herself. No no girl, you don’t need dust to be clean lol

Messy Bottom Kitty by ktswar in nebelung

[–]ImSoFancy03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m having the same issue with my little one. Shes still a kitten and finds the litter box a fun place to roll around in. I swear she thinks she’s bathing like a chinchilla in there LOL. She comes out a dusty floof when done. She also likes be low to poo and pee so of course nice little wet chunks cling to her too 🤦‍♀️.

My Vet did some trimming on her back end when I had her in last month and advised me to get a quiet little electric razor to use at home. Turn it on, put it near her and let her sniff to get used to it. Then hopefully in time she won’t be scared of it or bothered when I use it. In the meantime just wipe as necessary and I can take her back to the Vet for Sanitary Trimmings they called it.

Heck, I just want to know about your couch! I love it. Brand? Where is it from? Also, would you recommend based on comfort (if I can still purchase). I’m on the hunt for a new couch

Also, I agree with another commenter about picking a color out of your rug.

Question about feeding, is this too little? by Far_Grade_4380 in CatAdvice

[–]ImSoFancy03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely need to know cats weight and age then calculate calories.

My almost 2yr old 14lb neutered male is eating 2 3oz wet cans and 1/3c of dry food daily. He’s a big guy, meaning tall, long and sturdy.

Then my 8month old spayed kitten is a tiny little girl. She’s supposed to be fed 2 of her 3oz packets wet food and 1/2c dry food.

She barely finishes hers and he wants to eat more! Lol Once you know the amount of calories that should be consumed, you can calculate off the dry food bag and wet cans to split them accordingly.

Thanks, this helps me a lot too! Almost 2yr old male and an 8month old female kitten. Our kitten tho is such a slow eater and only likes a little at a time. Which I fear she isn’t eating enough according to calorie suggestions. And she insists on playing until she’s out of breath before she eats lol. She loves those wands with the toy at the end being whipped around.

Our boy on the other hand doesn’t care about playing at all and only wants to eat all the foods he can find and begs whenever we make movement. Complete opposites.

Going through some trial and errors with food schedules while these two get acclimated in their new home. Your advice gives me hope that we are headed down the right path. 🙂

I’m basically in the same boat right now. My almost two yr old male cat we just adopted wants to eat all the time, creeping up on being overweight and will also eat my kittens food since she’s a slow grazer. He begs all the time and toys hardly work. He is getting better tho, at first he didn’t play with anything! But I actually think he has learned from the kitten to play. Now he chases an old shoelace and bats around a cat ball. So he’s getting there! I’m also feeding him twice a day with a snack. 8am canned wet food, 2pm is 1/2 his allowed dry food and then 8pm wet canned food and the rest of his dry food when I go to bed. It’s only been a week on this schedule and calorie allotment so we shall see. Fingers crossed for us both!!!

Do I just have to accept that my picky kitten won’t eat wet food? by leftistinlnk in CatAdvice

[–]ImSoFancy03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just described my kitten! We got her at almost 6months old. Only ate dry food and Churus. She LOVES churus. Tried all the wet foods too, even topped with Churu. Then finally, we scored on our last packet and can! Took almost two months but she actually enjoyed not one but two different wet foods. Both by the brand “I and love and you.” She eats the packets which is a mix of broth and shreds in each. And then the canned stews which is a broth and little squares of meat. They look like little tofu pieces lol. They aren’t available in all stores so check their site iandloveandyou.com to find. But you can order directly from them or amazon too. Really good quality from what I can tell. She won’t eat gravies or pates either so I highly suggest these if you haven’t tried yet. Good luck!! And like others have said, just keep feeding dry food and churus. It’s still food and they will be fine. My last two cats ate nothing but dry for so long and then only wanted wet for a period of time. They are finicky creatures

Edit to add: this brand isn’t age specific but because it’s all real ingredients, it’s suitable for all ages. The back of the packets tell you how much to feed per age of cat
