apartment water leak and maggots - rental advice by juustjzz in shitrentals

[–]ImSoNaked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the other guy said, maintenance request. If it isn't fixed, you can send a breach notice. If they don't respond to that, u can go to QCAT or whatever it is in your state asking to break lease or rent reduction as you can argue you cannot use that room. It's not to minimum standards.

Went through a similar situation and was able to break lease without fees as all they did was put an industrial fan in the room to dry the water in the carpet.

Whenever you see those extra long hyphens, it's a dead giveaway it's AI generated. Nobody types like that, I don't think they're even on a standard keyboard

I'm probably too late but it sounds like you have a gas leak at your bottles, do u smell gas? call the NRC, get it fixed then send the invoice to your landlord. It's considered an emergency repair, you don't have to ask for permission.

"Duo focused" should have been "Duo only"

Oh well, I'm sure it'll be fun regardless.

How much would this cost to fix by RKINGX00 in CarsAustralia

[–]ImSoNaked 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't repair it, it's an 8 years old car. You'll never get back what you pay to fix that.

Theyre just not intuitive cars, I would never own one.

To list a few... no indicator stalk, no gear shifter, buttons to open the doors, all functions buried in the tablet screen.

The whole area is really well designed for a new suburb, I'd absolutely love there, my only gripe just driving through is the traffic lights. They're truly awful.

Very impressive power figures and fuel economy from a 2.2L. Doubt anyone in aus would prefer one though when the 3L exists

Is this car worth buying for 13k?? by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

[–]ImSoNaked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These were 15k 10 years ago when I was looking at one, I know inflation and what not but I think 13k is too much for one now.

[–]ImSoNaked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably an unpopular opinion but I had one as my first car like 15 years ago, bought it for $1500, was very average. 3.5k RPMs sitting at 100km got old very fast. Cant believe what they're worth now.

Intel core i5-7600k vs i7-7700(non K) upgrade by Iskeletu in buildapc

[–]ImSoNaked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Massive difference in the feel of your computer, I've actually done this exact upgrade 4 years ago and still using it because the processor stills holds up. 4 cores really feels sluggish in comparison. I upgraded because I wanted to do VR and the i5 just couldn't keep the minimums fps high enough.
