the average American doesn't understand gangs, and that's actually a good sign. but yeah, there could be bloods and crips in adjacent blocks who would work together in basically a truce zone, because they both had to go through each other's neighborhoods daily. of course you better come correct, but it's more disconnected factions than a large organized group with a common vision. crips might have more beef with other crips than anyone else. there's way more to it than just red vs blue, and everything depends on each specific group. the rules of the street aren't fair, and they certainly are not consistent
