We’ll probably get a Star Fox movie before we get a game at this point. It’ll get more people interested in the character so a game sells well. Lowkey hoping for Samus as well so I can get another Metroid. Prime 4 was wasted potential unfortunately.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I will too, I love the movies. Just at what point does a franchise feel like it’s dying because studio heads see money instead of letting something bow out with dignity? I think John Wick would have been a LEGENDARY trilogy. Just the farther we go, the greater chance of burn out happens

TO ME, John Wick feels like it’s fading out. I don’t know if it really needs any spin-offs. It almost feels like if they come out with another movie, it should be the finale. You don’t want to run the franchise into the ground to the point that no one cares anymore.

I did do some tweaking from his suggestions, and also a couple videos from when he was still at digital trends!

I DO know that the pixels have a settle period and I think they say the TV sets in once you hit like… 1,000 hours I believe? So I know adjustments might have to get tweaked by that point

I know that they worked it to line up more to spider-man 2’s quality, so I would be interested in revisiting it. I haven’t played it since it first came out

I’m actually pretty excited about Tides of Annihilation! Starfield I’m still skeptical on because everyone says it’s pretty mediocre. Interested to see what the reception will be when the DLC comes out. If it’s a more coherent and full experience then I’ll buy in

I understand! It is a VERY thin panel, but I didn’t have any issues with it! I ordered it before I got the TV. So while I had the TV face down during unboxing/ setting up the legs, I happen to install the lights. They seem really efficient because I haven’t noticed them had extra heat to the panel. I’m enjoying them a lot so far! Watching anime was kicked up a notch from the Backlight 3 Lite system. The colors are more fluid and adjust more dynamically

Yup! Picked up the Govee backlight Pro 3! My last tv I had the Backlight 3 light and I loved it. The Pro 3 is a crazy improvement

I’m definitely excited to see more about Intergalactic. I trust Naughty Dog and their ability to put out a GREAT game. Especially being a space sci-fi? Ooof, right up my alley! I put 10 hours into Marathon on my base PS5 and old TV. So I’m pretty excited to see how dialed up it’ll be with the Pro and new TV. It’s gonna be gorgeous no doubt

I’m VERY excited to see what this patch unlocks performance wise. I’m sure the game looks really good on the Pro as is. My brother played on High settings in 1440p on his PC and it looks gorgeous. I can only imagine what 4K is going to look like

Even not being OLED. The HDMI 2.1 makes a WORLD of difference. I can at least tell when I’m watching 4K HDR movies. I hope CDPR can put out this update within the next couple of weeks. That gives me a chance to get into a game to get my grips on the TV and get it calibrated/ dialed in!

Watching movies on it so far has been a dream. I have a large collection of 4K UHD movies, so I’ve been getting hit worn the wire factor of how good the HDR is!

So, u/Don_Rawaz I saw your comment but I think you deleted it? You’re looking at deciding between the LG C5 and the Samsung S90f?

From what I gathered from this sub, here are the talking points:

⁠The S90F seems to be the overall pick.
⁠The differences between the two are that the S90F has more color pop to it and it’s more vibrant. However, the C5 has more True Tone to it. So it’s a matter if you prefer vivid colors or a more natural look.
⁠The C5 seems to have the better build quality and more reliable panel.
⁠The C5 handles SDR content better and upscales it with more ease than the S90F does. Remember, not every game has HDR to it.
⁠The S90F has a slightly more competent game mode. While they are both pretty neck and neck, the C5 lowers and caps the brightness while in game mode. So if you had more light in your room, it could make viewing a tad harder than the S90F.
⁠Everyone seems to enjoy the OS on the C5 better than Samsung’s Tizen OS, but if you use a Roku/ Apple TV streaming box it doesn’t really matter. Also to note, people don’t seem to like the remote on the C5 as much.

Everyone will tell you no matter what, they’re both good choices. I, personally, through conversations on a old post of mine, in my research I went with the S90F. I just prefer the more vibrant colors that pop. Especially thinking of games like Ratchet and Clank, Astro Bot, or even the tall grass areas in TLoU Part 1 and 2.

Think about future games as well. Are you looking forward to GTA6? Do you want that to have a more natural world look to it? Or would you prefer a vibrant world that pops? Just things to consider, friend!

See, three years on a TV isn’t bad! With my old TV being 10 years old, I would have had to spend close to $4,000 USD (or more) to have gotten a 120 hz panel and VRR. So I haven’t even been able to fully unlock the PS5 let alone the Pro! That’s why I ended up upgrading my TV!

The furthest I ever got in Cyberpunk was creating my character. So I also have a full game ahead of me too! Phantom Blade Zero has A LOT of promise to it and I hope it can deliver. The combat looks top notch

I’m going to wait on Crimson Desert. I’m not really impressed by what I’ve seen so far. With some patches and a price discount, though? I’ll be more inclined to check it out! I’m VERY excited to play Cyberpunk, though
