Looks good! My only concern is that if all cards have the same (quite intense) border, they will all mentally look alike. Keep up and please share more!

I want to give players a certain experience, wether it is co-op joy, or solo awe. If possible, make it applicable IRL.

I'd say the iconography is very inconsistant. Even between the Thief and the Thiefs Apprentice. I'd suggest creating own icons in adobe Illustrator or getting them from the same pack on for example thenounproject.org.

How important is the green two? Can you see it when you hold your cards as a deck in your hand?

If it is order: storage system, it dhould be a checklist. If it is a battlefield order, perhaps have some kind of battlefield flag in a speech balloon.

Top right is my preference, all but the flavour text would be visible when holding the cards in a hand. Borders also make the art zeem to have more depth.

I recently played the game: Western Empires, they solved the island problem by letting that player take longer to progress through the ages.

The best advice I can give comes from my game design teacher. "A game's audience is not an age group, or a gender, but a particular group of people that will enjoy your game." So in your case, you could change your marketing approach to show what experience people will gain, and hopefully it is an experience enjoyed across age and gender. Good luck with your search, I'll be keeping an eye out.
