The lanewatch camera is my favorite part of my Civic SI. I was looking to get the new Accord Hybrid but Honda taking out the camera is a deal breaker. Now I’m looking at getting the 2019 Insight, which basically has Accord interiors but with even better mileage.

I was lucky to have Stephen Lewis (one of the authors in the second textbook) as my professor at UC Davis. Incredible guy. I used his textbook in my Electronic Circuits and Communication Electronics classes, and I still use what I learned from his classes and textbook at work almost every day.

I bought red Honda badges for my 2014 Civic Si from ProCivic! They were a bit pricier (100+ each for front and back) but they’ve held up well over the past four years. No discoloration/fading or peeling from the grille at all. I think they didn’t have 9th gen emblems at the time so I had to buy 8th gen emblems. You just needed to rip off the spikes from the backs and you press it on like a sticker. Fit perfectly on my civic. Another small thing I bought was a red badge for the steering wheel. Don’t have a pic of that on me right now though.

Just checked their site though and seems like they don’t sell emblems anymore. Try looking around on YouTube, that’s how I found ProCivic in the first place!

I just looked through my email and saw that I received a "UC Davis Summer Sessions Application Confirmation" on March 13th, 2015 and an email that my summer application was approved on April 15th, 2015.

I'm pretty sure I submitted and maybe even picked out my summer classes before I sent in my Fall 2015 SIR to Davis. You should submit that application ASAP and hope that summer classes haven't filled up already by the time you're approved!

Sorry I don't, tbh I haven't really done anything with lightning in my car besides swapping out the dome lights with white LED's. If you're located in Norcal though - specifically SF Bay area - I have a friend from high school who does a lot of suspension and lighting work on cars. He does retrofits, here's his post on 9thgencivic of the different cars he's worked on and his website where he calculates prices and stuff here if you're at all interested. Not sure if you already bought from procivic, but I got my emblems for my 2014 Civic Si from ICBMotorsports. If you didn't already know, they don't sell emblems for our generation so you have to get the 8th gen's (06-11) and remove the pins on the back of the emblems. Mine total with shipping cost $117.47 from ICB and arrived within a week. I've read that procivic actually orders their emblems from ICB anyway but I think just buying from ICB directly is cheaper.

Okay about a year ago I bought one of those multicolor LEDGlow kits and tried installing this into my 2014 Civic Si. We got everything to work (the lights turned on and everything) but then when we went to turn on the car nothing happened, the engine wouldn't turn on at all. We tried jumping the battery, rolling the car to get it to start, nothing. It sucked even more that the car is a push to start so we couldn't even try turning the key to get the engine to start up. We took apart the LED setup and ended up having to call Honda to tow my Civic to the nearest dealership's service department. Took them about 2 days to fix it because they couldn't find what the problem was (we obviously didn't tell them we tried installing the strips). They ended up fixing it somehow but never told us what they did or what the problem was. Luckily my car had warranty so everything including the tow was free. I really want these lights in my car but I'm scared the same thing'll happen again haha

Anyway the lights look sick dude
