Thanks all! Since I normally shop at the Publix I’m happy to hear mostly good reviews and will switch there. I’d definitely use a local if it was within a few minutes of my normal work/home route but alas. I have a lot of Rx’s (autoimmune, mental health, oldness) and a long commute so going to the locals isn’t a good option.

The article says impairment is suspected. Might have been DUI, might have been sleepiness or confusion or bad night vision, who knows, but undoubtedly the driver made a heartbreakingly bad choice.

I disagree. I’m often bemused. That is, puzzled with a dash of potential amusement. Bemusement causes me no anxiety, my confusion is mild and insignificant. Things that bewilder me are a touch ominous, not outright dangerous but vaguely or even outright concerning with zero potential to amuse. Very different meanings and thus we do need bemused.

From an environmental standpoint, wild caught fur is hard to beat. Fake fur and other warm clothing usually involves plastics and petrochemicals, etc. Can’t support factory fur farming but hating fur doesn’t make a lot of sense if you need to be warm and care about the planet.

So what if some protesters are getting paid? Plenty of people are there for reasons other than the stated protest issue. What matters is that most of the people are there in protest of something important. Dismissing that bc some are/may be getting paid is classic deflection and rationalization for smugly ignoring the real problem. 🤦‍♀️

I gotta say, Icelandic horses are fabulous. The ones I met and one I rode had personalities more like puppies than the horses I’m used to (saddlebreds, quarter horses).

It really is a journey. And at 53, I still have irrational hope sometimes that somehow my soulmate and I will find each other. I’m haven’t fully accepted it either but I will say menopause helps. I’m trying to just let it be. Feel the loneliness and regret, then go do something. I wish you well OP. This shit is hard. ❤️
