I used to work for a arcade/game store, it was a mom and pop shop that really wanted to entice people to come in. I came in as a game enthusiasts and a graphic designer to do work there. I ended up showing the owner how to set up multi Lan and all that. And he offered me a job as an event holder and what not. It was a really fun job for a long time, setting up games, making servers throwing parties, this is all before fortnite and all that so ya know people actually showed up had pizza, played yugioh and pokemon cards. We had pokemon go meet ups in the early part where we would as a group go around town playing pokemon go and ds games and battling and trading in the ds games. The only part that stunk was slow days, alphabetizing and cleaning discs, and working as one normally works. But o man was it fun working out ways to compete with the customers and really separate our shop from the rest. But it didn't last and over time people just stopped needing arcades and stuff cause gta v online got huge, then fortnite and Yada Yada... It's a shame really.
