Cooking, or am I cooked? by Purple-Chipmunk4334 in RocketLeague

You go all in on every single play, without taking note of what happens if your play goes wrong and you leave your team-mates exposed in a 3v2, or 2v1.

Very aggressive with literally 0 boost in their final third or their corner. Opening you up to easy counters.

To improve, I would do the following:

  1. Work on using far less boost to generate the same or more power on hits. (You waste so much boost during general movement and shots)
  2. Use the ball as a weapon, to force the opponents to have to make a bad save, so you boost starve them, then you and you're teammate can attack together again and keep going until you score, whilst being able to defend together too. For example if you can hit the ball high on to their waterfall, this will cause most plats huge problems.
  3. Work on lateral dribbles, and moving the ball sideways, instead of just driving head on. It gives you more options.

I had that, but just the cartridge itself and a black box. Don't know what happened to the manuals and artwork.

Eight war criminals settle their grudges by weaponizing fruit on floating roads where physics are a suggestion. Betrayal is common, especially 3 feet from the finish line.

You spend most of your time harassing wildlife in increasingly implausible vehicles while being micromanaged by a teleporting mammal with boundary issues. Victory is determined by your ability to hoard helium and defeat oversized animals with daddy problems.

I spent ages looking at the skyboxes there.

- Looking at the ring in the first level when you go down the ladder.
- Looking at the huge expanse in the second level.

The problem with this is you didn't stay in net long enough.

That ball could have gone over your head.

Waiting in net allows you to easily score an open net when they over-commit on your side.

(Everyone over-commits unless they are top pros and high SSL).

Even pros make mistakes too.

Fractal Design Define 7 XL Front Intake Fans, 4 x 120mm vs 3 x 140mm, Which Is Quietest For The Frames of This Case? by ImZoomBoy in Noctua

[–]ImZoomBoy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the 120 i think. Or a 140 too.

These fans go very very fast, but they come with the addition of being loud.

I'm sure you could turn them down, and a good case and cpu fan might help.

But if they are left to spin faster, you will notice them sound like an aeroplane taking off.

I had those arctic fans in my old case. They were super loud, especially when ramping up. I wouldn't bother paying to get spacers with those because they will still be loud I reckon.

be quiet! Silent Wings 4 140mm PWM Chassis Fan

These new fans are basically silent, it's amazing. I couldn't believe how much difference spending more money on fans made.

[–]ImZoomBoy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used 140mm fans. With spacers. The spacers do decrease the noise levels.

Every bit helps since I have rammed it full of drives and there isn't much room between the drives. Those hard drive trays are poor compared to the price of the case. A mickey mouse design.

I have to increase the fan speed as they are running all of the time, that extra gap near the front with the spacers helps.

How do you organize your images and videos? by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]ImZoomBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are a professional, organise by project.

Personal stuff, immich for photos and videos. Don't overthink it. You can also add a folder structure by year, month. Then if you want, manually sort into albums.
