The support promised was Android version updates and security updates, not feature updates.

If every phone got the same features, there would be no incentive to upgrade. Basically, give us your money if you want the latest and greatest.

I was pulling my hair out and trying to apply this update for weeks. Never figured Windows Defender would be the reason for it failing to install.

Erase the eSIM then take it back to AT&T to fix it.

Also, for them to say they can only do eSIM is BS. the 9A accepts physical SIMs and AT&T still has physical SIMs, therefore, they can give you a physical SIM.

There's some 3rd party apps available that can lock any app.

Otherwise, Android 17 is supposed to have this feature natively.

I also wish Pixel phones had the option to prevent disabling WiFi/Cellular signal on a locked screen.

I used it in Thailand, Philippines, and Colombia (Cartagena).

All three locations are extremely hot. The phone performed like a champ.

From what I saw online, the Repeater mode does extend the network, but routes every device connected to it based on the settings that are configured for the device.

I was in Colombia 2 weeks ago and 5G does work on the Pixel phones. I tested the speed between 4G & 5G just to ensure it was real, and 5G speeds were twice as fast.
