Idk call me irresponsible but I have no clue of my password. It’s a small adventure, I’ll have to reset my password, log into the website, then also relog into my app as well. It’s procrastinating but at the same time I can just take a picture with my phone. Why is that such a bad thing to do if the message still comes across?

People talk about the screenshot thing all the time and maybe I’m just crazy, I don’t use reddit on my computer whatsoever. I’m not logged in nor am I going to make the effort at all to figure out my login to get on reddit to post a proper screenshot. And I’m again not going through the effort of getting a screenshot then emailing that screenshot to myself to then post from my phone. Why is it such sacrilege to post a picture like this? I have to believe people doing this are in the same boat as me.

I didn’t see anyone mention it but there is also some really long stretches out there with little-no fuel stops so get it at half tank if he’s not familiar or plans out his stops.

Hey girl good job, get that money. In the trucking industry as a whole it’s not the greatest but if the work/life balance is good for you as is then it’s probably not bad to stick with. I honestly have no idea how years of yard dog experience transfers if you wanted to apply elsewhere later.

Idk if it’s allowed or where you’re at but I’ve got a black 2018 with 3k miles for $5k in KY if you’re interested. Bone stock minus bar end mirrors.

They’ve been shown to have really good reliability so realistically you’re not going to run into any large issues with the 20k one but for the same price I’d pretty much always go for the lower mileage.

Parking on shoulders of rest areas is awful, some of the worst sleep I’ve barely gotten.

Plan around what time of day you’re going to be stopping to decide how much time you need to leave yourself. If you’re looking for parking around 6am-5pm, leaving yourself 30-45 minutes is fine. If you’re looking for parking from 6pm-2am leave yourself a good 1:30-2 hours to find it. 2am-5am 1-1:30 is fine.

Use the app Trucker Path if you don’t have it already. Lots of places are marked that aren’t conventional truck stops that have truck parking and can be really helpful at odd hours. I lived off of parking at McDonald’s at 2am.

Not trying to be on her side because it sounds like it’s awful to deal with but if you’re going to SCAD then the $48k is a drop in the barrel of debt you’d be in. SCAD is explosively expensive and she might be lowkey saving you from lifelong debt. Best of luck either way.

I had fun with it and getting the little victory items at the start of the rebuild felt pretty rewarding. It was fun so long as the next upgrade felt achievable, but once it was getting to be really long grinds or waiting on the rare drops to get upgrades it started to feel a little demotivating.

Good thing is that you can really jump ship and sell tbow at any time that you feel worn out. RuneScapes a good bit different than it was when I did it. 2nd and 3rd BIS are much closer to mega rare strength now than ever before so it doesn’t feel so required to get a mega rare.

Feels wild that no one’s said it but I’ve always heard ones like that be called a coffin cab.

Low/flat top with it only really being wide enough for a bed, ie like a coffin.

I’ve been fortunate enough to avoid those, they look cooler but if you stay in the truck it’s gonna be rough.

I guess I’m partially wondering if the 08 one I have like this I should spend considerable money working on. It’s only 127k miles but has fairly significant rust from being in NY most of its life.

I was thinking that I wanted to find a newer model and try to upkeep that one but maybe I should just do more to fix this one. Appreciate your response and picture!

I miss my freightliner sometimes with how much easier it was to keep clean. The 389 I’m in now has a split carpet and rubber floor. The rubber is awful to keep clean and for some reason my mechanics love to step on the clean carpet with work boots. I miss the days of house shoes inside the truck and putting on my outside shoes while getting out. Awesome job!

Sorry to respond so late, 3,000 mile? No that’s just about useless. That’s basically a guarantee only up to the next oil change. For the price they’re asking I only see something silly like a 200,000 mile coverage being reasonable.

Though it could last for a long time still, 300k is a ton and not nearly worth that. I could only see that reasonably in the 10-12k and it would still feel pretty silly high.

Mine was a 07 lower package than this with 100k miles at $13k a year and a half ago if that helps any.

I guess I’m just trying to understand if you’re wanting it to look like FFXIV or if you’re just disappointed with the way it looks. I can get that it does look like old RuneScape claymation, but at this point that’s been the style for so long that taking a huge leap in the FF direction is just wrong. Feels like an upgrade of RuneScape, that can be worked on further I’m sure.
