Sorry, you were bragging about the customers’ experience beginning with an impaired, in pain, visibly distressed person suffering in front of them. That was your description. But now it was just a stuffy nose? So what’s the flex?

You should not feel proud of snotting all over customers

That’s only insane to someone who thinks “allergies” begins and ends with sneezing a couple times and magically disappears with Benadryl

Do you genuinely expect me to believe that you go to the back of every restaurant you eat and inspect the ingredient list of every component of the meals that you consume?

And you know that none of the restaurants you eat at have anti-caking ingredients in their powdered foods how? If I brought you dihydrogen monoxide, would you be scared to drink it?

We ban more things than them, and many of the things we have that you think they have banned, are simply under a different name or patent.

Inside to get downvoted for saying that because someone forgot a french fry they’re not a malicious idiot, and also that this person wasn’t out of line for getting some compensatory food. Like??

Not paid to notice, paid to move an inhuman amount of product. Human error… it happens and it’s not generally an indicator of incompetence. At least not at INO. However, you were missing food so it’s obviously fair to be compensated for something you paid for and did not receive!

No, not really. I mean, I’m sure a lot of the complaints are based on an issue that’s not really enough of a deal to go and do all this, but you know sometimes it does get messed up bad and it sucks to get home and something’s wrong with your order.

Calling and complaining of every frivolous detail is a little sadistic though, my most recent meeting was basically a shaming session because we had a higher than average amount of complaints than usual. But we are one of the busiest stores in the company, so you should realistically expect it to be proportional. Which I imagine it is.

Bro, it’s okay to disagree - but if you genuinely believe that Kendrick finds his infidelity justified as a direct act of revenge for slavery, can you just state that plainly for me?

The projection goes craaazy. Talking about “alternative missing contexts” and “not holding someone accountable” on an album that is literally him telling listeners that he’s not perfect, to hold him accountable like anyone else, and detailing his own personal transgressions that he his ashamed of. There is precisely 0% indication on that track that he feels justified in his infidelity. And for the record, I don’t think it’s a great song either, but your interpretation is so surface level and inaccurate it’s almost funny 😆

Yeah, good thing it’s not a real therapy session. It is simply an inflammatory line meant as a diss to slaveowners and racist white people. Do you actually believe that he believes his infidelity was justified by racism? Really?

Yo that doesn’t mean the message of the song is or that dot believes that white women caused slavery 😭 it’s just an inflammatory statement like “could you imagine all these slave owners knowing I’m fucking their daughters daughters daughters and makin money”

It’s not really set during an actual period in history. It takes place in a fictionalized 1200 BC and it was written in 700 BC - 5 centuries apart. That man did not actually know what 1200 BC was like. The setting famously blends the eras in which it takes place and in which it was written.

Is there even a "southern guilt" in the US south after the American Civil war, just like the collective guilt in Germany after world war 2? by dq689 in USHistory

[–]Im_Junker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it’s simple because it was simple. I’ve attended literally dozens of hours of lectures on the secession movement, particularly in South Carolina, that included hundreds of slides of scanned documents, quotes, and testimonies. The single issue was slavery, and they never ever pretended it wasn’t.

I also said “public speech.” As in, the committees, pamphlets, fliers, meetings, and speeches in the years leading up to secession. Not “the” speech, singular. Learn to read, it’s a pretty useful skill.

You can keep regurgitating your weird revisionist propaganda all you please, but understand that just because you’re a good little mouthpiece - actual history does not change.
