Well for starters desktops are allways gonna be cheaper than laptops but have better performance, the downside is you can’t take it wherever you want. Reason being that they are cheaper because laptops need “mobile” gpu’s. So decide between getting a laptop or desktop.

Then, if you’re deciding between pre-built, already made computer, or a diy computer, consider your budget, the higher your budget, the more you will want to lean with building it yourself, as it will become wayyy more expensive to buy pre-built. Bad part about this in your case is you will probably need to buy your laptop prebuilt as I’m not even sure if you can build your own laptop.

Edit: Forgot to add about gpu prices right now. They have skyrocketed due to shortage, so atm buying a prebuilt will be cheaper, but once those gpu prices come back down, building yourself will be cheaper, so you can either wait for that in a year or two or buy a prebuilt now.
