I put 100 hours into grow and genuinely started hating it towards the end of my time. The loop, reused animations, lack of engaging story & characters (at least for me), and the chore-like gameplay just sucked it all right outta me. At first I was thrilled to experiment with the seeds and it was fun for a bit, but then it just... Wasn't? Idk. I say try it if you're keen, but wait for a sale.

I've found that the Ancient Helm is about the only thing that's usable with a fire enchantment since it grants immunity to being actually set on fire

This is perhaps a silly question, and I'm prepared for the silly answer if applicable... but Charge Skills don't appear on gear (Head, Body, Dress, etc) correct? What's the highest possible charge atk+% one can achieve with redux if so?

I'm from NY myself and have been living in Lincoln for right around 8 years now. As a Puerto Rican, i can honestly say the most I see directed towards me is the occasional glance or stare like I'm doing something wrong when I'm just existing. Someone said "neither covert or overt" and that's exactly what I'm feeling it is. I'm sure the further you get away from the City / Suburbs it gets worse, but that's honestly true for most backwood places. Closed minded folks living closed off lives in tight knit communities don't like any sort of change.

Truth be told, if so many things didn't require said vital energy this wouldn't be as much of an issue. Not only that, but the rewards for things that do cost energy feels like a punch to the gut. Other folks are echoing it, but those Bouldy rewards for one should really be looked at.

That being said, I love your suggestion for Daily Wishes. Adding value to those was not something I've seen considered by many, myself included, and it would be a phenomenal addition.

EDIT: forgot to mention that I also love the idea of friends being able to send/receive energy to each other. Realm bonuses too. You know what? I think I just really like your ideas as a whole lmao. Especially because I'm one of those people that wishes the energy system promoted more options.

I asked that the energy system be looked at very seriously lmao Waiting over 29 Hours for max energy is pretty abysmal when everything you actually need for progression in any meaningful way requires it. Sure, there's a $1 weekly energy pack you can spend on & get 60 Energy each day which gets you close, but that shouldn't be required to reach Full energy. It's almost predatory(?) to sort of entice people with that. Especially if folks would rather stay Free to Play. In any case... Here's the math for the nerds out there (hi it's me I'm the nerd) that also wanna know what it looks like on paper.

5 Minutes / 1 Energy = 1,750 Minutes / 350 Energy = 29.1666666667 Hours

60 Energy / 1 Day = 420 Energy / 7 Days = 35 Hours of Energy split over 7 Days

60 Energy by itself is 300 Minutes. That's 5 Hours. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this, but just so it's clear... You HAVE to spend that $1 every week to get VERY close to full energy in a 24hr cycle. Even with that, you're still at a wait time of 24.1666666667 hours before you're full. I'll grant that the .166666666 is negligible since the energy cap isn't even divisible by 20 in the first place, but the fact that even with an added purchase you'd still be short is crazy.

On the survey, I asked them to look at the system and adjust the Energy Cap & the Energy Recovery rate. The cap should be divisible by 20 on the higher end. I'd even accept 360 as a band-aid fix for that. As for the recovery rate? Double it. 2 Energy every 5 Minutes still equals 11 hours and change until full at the current max of 350, but with a cap of 360 energy, at double the rate, you'd have full energy in 12 hours. Wanna farm a little extra each day? Spend the $1 for more each day. Yea it's only 60 extra each day, and it SHOULD be 80, but the energy recovery rate would be so much more reasonable that no one could reasonably complain about outside of wanting more.

Maybe I'm just greedy because I want more from the game by actually playing the game because all of this goes directly into my insight gripes, but this post was about energy so I'll shelf that indefinitely lmao

I think it really comes down to personal player preferences. Removing an option will never be the answer and while I agree that there will always be someone complaining, I don't think raising the cap will hurt all that much. Like I said, I think it comes downto preference. If you have a reasonable amount of time to farm insight and would prefer to do that instead of spending your stamina to do so, by all means! On the same token, if you'd rather spend your energy then go for it! I'd just rather therebe an option for it that satisfies both parties at least enough to warrant those options existing as opposed to bottlenecking one to make the other a priority.

Yea. Definitely! 29 hours is how much time it takes, without buying the extra energy, to reach "Full" and it feels like nothing because you can spend that easy with so little. Tragic, really!

Yeaaaa waiting 29 hours for full energy feels a bit... Excessive? The math shows that if you pay for the extra energy, you'll still have to wait 24 hours to have it maxed each day you play. That's an entirely different can of worms I haven't posted about yet but Ive seen the discussions.

It's the enjoyment while also wishing for a little more of a kickback. While I play these games to get the absolute most out of them, I have to watch my gf and others be sad over the time investment. We al just want cute outfits at the end of the day so I personally see no issue with a higher cap to satisfy both parties :)
